Extended Battery And Replacement Back Cover - Nokia N97 - Black

This battery is fantastic. Really well worth the money. Was really impressed with the delivery service very quick and safe. My battery would run out at the end of every day now with this battery it lasts at least 2 full days if not more. Thanks mobilefun x.

This is a good product, and the service from Mobile fun, as always was fine. The battery provides the power required to run the phone for a couple of days with heavy usage (improves after a couple of full charges, was a little disappointed first 3 or 4 days, but after 'killing' it a couple of times and charging over night it lasts really well), and the rear cover replacement fits fine, if anything a little less 'creaky' than the original. Now the downside, which to be fair, has to be expected a little. It turns the phone into a brick and makes it far less 'pocketable' , it also makes it more awkward to use the phone on a table, when using the qwerty or the D pad the phone tilts and unless you steady it with your hand it makes it impossible to type or adjust the volume with the D pad due to the fact you no longer have any support on the left hand side of the phone due to the shear bulk the battery adds, also the weight increase is considerable. The battery is a very tight fit, however due to the nature of the phone (having to remove the battery after a freeze !!!) it eases off and seems to just fit 'snugly'. Overall it's a compromise, and I can accept the drawbacks for the more reliable power source. Oh and as a footnote, you cannot use the phone bracket for Navigation with the extended battery as it won't fit !

Extended battery received next working day - the usual good service from Mobilefun. Battery is quite a tight fit into the N97 and obviously adds some weight to the phone, as well as adding almost 30% to its depth. The replacement back cover fits well and looks OK. The original N97 needed to be charged every night without fail, and sometimes then ran out of power in the evening but now I can use the phone for a couple of days without a problem. For me - and my heavy usage (web browsing, videos, music etc.) - I am more than happy to to accept the extra weight/size.
