Since writing the last review I have done some research to find the Li polymer battery is the next gneration of battery from the Li-ion type. I have also updated Andriod from the supplied 1.6 version to the current SE issue version 2.1 and what a difference it has made. The phone on the same usage now lasts for 4 days. I have also found that you have to be careful on what apps you download as some of them increses the rate of discharge from the battery.

I run 2 businesses and was looking for a new phone with GPS and internet access. I have had Ericsson phones in the past and still have and use as backup my T29 phone when necessary. On the X10i good phone internet access good and apps you can get (especially the free ones but read reviews befor you down load any). AS alsways the batery life is not as per the manufacturer but then it is like the mpg on cars, it depends on how you use them. Would be better if battery with phone was Li-ion than Li-polymer and mah was increased to 2000. Because of battery it losses one star.
