Seems a great product at first but after using it a while it stopped working with iPhone plugged into stereo and doc, it only works while iPhone is out of doc, still a good product even though I use instead to charge phone separately and play music while it's supposed to work similtaneously.

Great service and value for money
This is a great value product, it is easy to use and the signal is clear and crisp. The facility of 4 preset channels is perfect for travelling across the country where local radio station fm channels frequently change. I'm yet to find fault with this product.
I was informed on the status of my order from purchase to delivery. The product was delivered the next day and was well packaged. Excellent customer service. I would recommend this product and the company to anyone.

perfect perfection
Tuned in to a free fm station and did the same on the unit and perfect music from my iPod filled the interior of my van. Haven't listened to radio since. Good sound and a sturdy unit. Recommend buying really good value for the price.

Just what I needed
Ideal product for multi purpose use. Able to charge the iphone as well as giving access to your music. Easy to set up and gives good sound throught the stereo. Previous purchases have used SD card but have not been secure in the power point. This product is firmly in place and does not rock or slide.
Looking forward to a long journey to really put it through its paces.

Surprisingly Good
Ordered the KitPerfect In Car FM Transmitter primarily to be able to play my iPod in car. I searched around and read most of the reviews on here before deciding to order. I've lived with the product now for around 6 weeks and must say that it performs extremely well. I think the only thing it lacks is a Bluetooth function to be able to handle calls as I don't have an iPhone, but other than that it does what I needed it to do. I have it installed in a Discovery 3 which has a vertical mount and it fits fine. No slippage or loss of position or power that others have reported. The fitting into the cigarette lighter is quite big but I think that is actually an advantage as it helps to hold the kit securely. I've not had cause or tried to pull it out yet but I dare say it will come out.....don't see what the big deal is. It looks quite chic in the car and has a separate on/off power button which is a good feature. Only annoying thing is that if you are listening to quiet tracks on the iPod (Pink Floyd for instance) it will power off automatically after 30secs as it thinks it's idle. These kind of tracks are few and far between so I can live with it. Reception is pretty good also when music is on but I do get a very slight hiss in between tracks.....minor, insignificant point really. Its also surprisingly sturdy, and I think pretty well put together. Pity the LED display was in red, but hey ho, I can live with it. All in all, for the money, a good purchase and I'm glad I bought it. Can't comment on the iPhone side of things but sure it'll work fine. This takes an iPod Classic and Nano by the way.....fitted both types. All in all, I'm pretty fussy and would definately recommend this kit for the price. Final PS - I find 107.5 the best channel for reception. No loss of signal so far.

Brilliant!
I bought this as I wanted to play my Ipod in the car. Was so easy to set up, just remove the cig lighter and plug in, tune your radio to a non station frequency and then set the transmitter up to the same frequency and then hey presto it works. Brilliant sound too, even the husband (who thought it wouldnt work) was impressed.

Purchased this a few weeks ago and have just fitted it in the car so easy and simple just plug into your cigarette lighter and tune into one of the frequencies great sound and for the money well worth it only down side it is a very tight fit in the lighter socket.

Does what is says on the box.
Fast delivery, received it the day after dispatch. As it says on the box, plugged it in, pressed the auto tune and tuned the radio and it works perfectly. Haven't had any of the problems experienced by others of it moving when going round a corner. Only issue i've had is when I tried it in the wife's car, (citroen c4). The plug wouldn't fit into cigarette lighter socket.

Good:
Been using this for the past 2 weeks in my car. The interface is simple and works great. FM transmission is faultless and of good quality. Holds well in Nissan Almera SE without movement during drives.
Desirables:
Longer flexi neck to move iphone out of way from auto gear stick;
Better integration of call facility into FM radio
Bad:
Taking calls while iphone is on the system doesnt work well. The volumen output from the earphone jack is very feeble. Need to turn up volume all the way up on the car system to hear clearly while driving. The mic on iphone needs to be directed towards you when you have to talk into it. A bit of a discomfort to turn your head towards iphone and taking your eyes off the road is not safe even for a short while.

Excellent Product
I bought this after trying a few other options for using the tom tom app on my iphone in my car. I wanted a solution that allowed me to use my iphone 4 for music, as well as the tom tom navigation app, and hold the phone securely, in a usable position. The kitperfect allows me to do just that! all with the music and tom tom voice instructions coming through the car speakers. All this in an 11 yr old ford focus!
i've travelled frequently in and outside of london and all the way up to stoke on trent, and have only had to retune 3 times in 6 months. Only downside is calls don't get picked up by the transmitter, which I think is a iphone issue as opposed to the kitperfect.

Just one problem
Great piece of kit works absolutely fine in my car and the hgv i drive , good solid build fm transmitter works brill great reception while on phone , the only problem i've found is because of the weight of the iphone it tends to make the holder bend down especially in the car and i have to wedge it in the lorry . Great service from Mobile Fun as always.

Kit Perfect
Absolutely the worst purchase after a week the rubber stopper fell of and after a month. I'm having to prop the dock to make sure it stays connected. Not a good buy. If I were you I wouldn't bother with this item try something else. Best wishes. J J

I use it in a Nissan XTrail with an IPod Classic, works a treat, easy to install,a bit tight putting into and taking it out of the cig lighter/power outlet, but not a problem, just twist as inserting or extracting, very happy with the product.

Brilliant bit of kit & service
Ordered 16.42 on Friday & it was on the doorstep first thing Saturday morning.
Plugged it into the car, tuned in the radio & it works a treat, what more could you ask for?
The sound quality isn't quite as good as my docking system, but that is probably the car stereo & nothing to do with the transmitter.

Excellent buy. Ever since uploading over 200 CDs to my iPhone 4 I've been increasingly frustrated at the limitations of my car's 6 changer CD player. I've been looking for a piece of kit that would give me easy access to my iPhone library. This KitPerfect buy certainly does the job: easy to install & it works!

I have had to adapt mine,as not many cars nowadays have the cigarette lighter in the dash.
mostly are now in the center console.If the items plug was straight instead of at rightangles no problem.But when fitted it's superb.

No more buying CD's for the car!
Once I'd figured out how to get this to work - and it is easy, but being a girlie I plugged it in without reading the instructions & prayed for the best - it's GREAT! It does say, as do some of the reviews that the quality isnt 100%, but what do you expect for £20. Able to play all my choons, easy to use & also compatible with my Parrott bluetooth - what more do you need!

Much cheaper than a new car!
I have recently discovered the joys of an apple iphone but when driving my old ford focus I was previously unable to make full use of the music and satnav apps. What I wanted was a sturdy and adjustable car-holder, and an easy to use fm transmitter that works, all at a reasonable price. The kitperfect arrived the day after ordering, and in my view it is the perfect solution. I was impressed by the build quality, low price, ease of use, and sound quality. I did wonder if the single fixing point (lighter socket) would take the weight. But it does!.

Could be a bit better but has merit
A few weeks after using the transmitter, here iw what I think - great idea, but some glitches. For example, for no explainable reason it switches off every now and then. Initially had problems plugging it in the cigarette socket of the car. Had to buy a split socket, where with some degree of force I was able to plug it. However, it kept swinging around, getting on the way of driving. Don't know why after a couple of weeks I decided to try and plug it directly. Just managed it the first time - very tight fit, but on the plus side, held really good. After taking it off a few times, plugging it became easier while still holding well in place without swinging. As it is now, if only it did not switch off every now and then, it would have been perfect. Tuning it was no problem at all, just a matter of finding and empty frequency. Still, for the money I paid and for the work it does, it is worth it.

Not bad at the price
To start off it must be said that this item does the same as others which cost two or three times more. Its not hi-fi and there is some background hiss on quiet tracks but put on some loud rock and it is a great tool to drive with. If for whatever reason you cannot fit a cd/ tuner or link your ipod to your existing unit this will provide fair quality music at a very fair price.

Pretty good value
This bit of kit was easy to fit and use and does the job I wanted it for pretty well - charging my iphone 4 and playing music through the fm transmitter. The hands free phone part is a bit useless unless you don't want to listen to music because if you connect the cable to be able to play voice calls through your car hi fi, you can't use the device to listen to music and if you're listening to music and the phone rings you can't connect the cable whilst driving so its a bit frustrating. However it does two things well enough so no complaints at the price.

Good value kit
Transmits well and phone stays secured in cradle, considering it's only held with a couple of bits of plastic. Only complaint is the bendy cable which is not strong enough for the weight of the phone: it won't stay in position so this is perhaps not ideal for audis or other cars where cig charger slot is horizontally mounted ( eg next to hand brake)

When I first fitted this it did not work on the first channel I tried and I thought what a load of rubbish, but I tried again and what do you know it worked. Not only does it work but it sounds better than my radio.

Great product
Easy to install, to use and just as easy to move between cars. Not had any problems with interference and the FM cable is an added plus as can even play music from my mobile through the device using the cable. Service delivery was 1st classed - received day after ordering.

Wish I'd bought this ages ago!
Great product. Good sound quality and easy to set up and use. Cigarette lighter connection only just fits in as it's in an akward place but it works so not a problem! Would definitely recommend it.

Item did not charge my I phone like it says but after pluging in wire supplied found a signal and works pretty good. Quality is not as good as car radio but it does the job. I brought it for work van would not put it in my car though.

The product is good when it works, but very annoying when I go round a bend or hit a bump in the road as it moves about, it's a shame there's no way of clipping it secure somewhere

It works!
My generous wife treated me to an ipod Classic for Christmas and I soon realised I wanted to be able to play it in the car. After much internet research I took a punt on the KitPerfect In Car transmitter. Ordered on a Sunday evening, it was here on the following Tuesday morning. Good start. Fitting it into my Ford Focus was tricky though, but with teeth gritted it got there eventually and the following weeked a five-hour drive to Yorkshire was accompanied by my favourite music on my ipod. It's easy to tune in and the sound quality is good. For 20quid, a good buy.

It is what it says "Perfect".Out of box, quick assembly,Plugged in to cigar lighter,tuned in and saved frequency.The sound quality is excellent with no bleed,have'nt tried it round London yet.Build quality very good.This is the answer for car/wagon drivers who do not have Aux plug on radio.

Bought this for my girlfriend for Xmas couldn't believe the quality of material but also the quality of sound. Very rarely do you have to change frequency due to interference. It was so good bought one for myself.

Great item
This transmitter performed just as expected. Clear sound reproduction from iPhone 4 and iPod Classic. Nice to have the auto frequency search feature. The only problem I've found is with the auto-off function - if the transmitter doesn't detect any music from the iPod, it switches off. This has been a problem with some of my music which is classical and has very quiet passages - suddenly the transmitter will switch itself off mid-track! Most music is fine though. The flexible stalk and lighter plug hold well and are sturdy. I'm lucky that my car has a cigarette lighter socket mounted in a vertical dashboard, which seems to work best.

I don't recall giving a product review before and I suspect this will be viewed with suspect because it is so glowing but it's just not every day you get full satisfaction from buying a product online. I sooo wanted to use my Iphone in my car and this really looked too good to be true. The price is ridiculous. The product looks so cool and for me works perfectly. I ordered it in the afternoon and it arrived next day.I have to commend this company for being efficient and the product for doing (for once) what it sais on the can. Well done you.

Basic but it does it's job.
This piece of kit does exactly what it claims to do.
No over complicated controls and looks functional.
In my circumstance I do get interference and the goose neck design isn't that practical when the cigar lighter or 12v output socket is set back in the console of the lower dash (56 plate Ford Focus).

Very Good To Start With!
When I first received the transmitter, it was and still is very clear. The problems I'm now having is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The biggest of my problems is I can't get it out of the socket and feel that the only way to get it out is either damaging my centre consol or taking the consol apart. Really not very good. For referance of other people looking to buy this item, I have a new shape mini, not suitable!!

I found this item fine to use once established a station it would work on, the only problem I have is that the arm which supports the phone cradle constantly moves and your phone ends up upside down and hanging everywhere you don't want it too. It needs to be better supported to hold phone in place properly where you want it.

Brilliant brilliant brilliant, simple to use. Tune in to an unused radio frequency match it on the transmitter and it plays your music throught your car stereo system. No need to pay out for an expensive ipod dock to be fitted. Only one draw back, I had to buy an adaptor as the part that fits into the cigarette lighter was too big. But now I have two ports so one free for a sat nav. Adaptor was only £10. I'm very pleased!!

The fm transmitter is really good works a treat not complicated to start using but there was one problem
The holder is not great I have a iPhone and then trying to put the cable and the phone In an uptight position it' just falls over could be the weight of the phone is to much for the stand that's the only flaw,plus my cigarette lighter is inside the ashtray to very limited to how I can place the transmitter and holder
But it works very well very clear and definatly worth the price

I was a bit dubious about this due to the low cost, but it does everything it says on the box and makes my iphone very easy to use in the car. The sat nav app, ipod and phone all work great and much much better than listening to the rubbish on the Radio

Fantastic Cheap FM Transmitter for Ipod Touch
I really wanted to purchase an FM transmitter because it was so expensive to fit an Aux input in my little fiat panda, I also wanted to make sure that I got an FM transmitter that charged my Ipod as I am useless at remembering to charge it at home! After reading reviews about FM transmitters I was really unsure of which one to get as so many people have said they do not work very well! What is great about this item is that it tells you which channels is best for you to tune it into, it also gives you 4 options so you can pick the best channel for your Ipod! Not only that but it keeps your Ipod secure and it stays up right whilst driving! The sound quality is perfect, with very very little interference! I have been driving around and have not had any problems with it! Plus it looks really good too! The price was fantastic, as so many other transmitters are £50 plus, also my transmitter came within a few days!
This is by far the best transmitter I have come across and it is such a fantastic price, I would recommend this to anyone who has an Ipod and doesnt have an aux input in their car!

Pros
Does work with iPhone 4.
It works quite well on the crowded bandwidth and even if the only frequency available already has a bad signal already on it, the KitPerfect will overcome it and play the iPhone input.
Unfortunately, and not KitPerfects fault, distance travelling will mean that you have to change channels frequently when you go into another broadcast area. Maybe disabling local stations will help.
The perk is that the unit can tell you which available frequencyl to tune to.
Cons
The bendy bit isn't bendy enough and the rubber friction pieces on the plug can get caught inside the cig lighter socket, jamming the plug in place

Some good points some bad
I was looking for a quick and easy transmitter and holder for an iphone 4 and this seemed to fit the bill. Used in a 2002 BMW 3 series E46 which has a near vertical cigarette lighter socket and a Toyota Corolla Verso which has a horizontal one in the dashboard. The good points are: reasonable price, easy set up, good radio reception and fair sound quality - better than previous ones I've tried. Bad points are: the plug on the unit was too tight in the Toyota resulting in damaging the socket, the plug allows too much rotation in the socket so the unit flops around. In the BMW this is not too bad because the unit rests against the dashboard but this is an accidental solution, not by design. The flexible neck is particularly poor quality as it doesn't stay in the shape you bend it too. Overall its ok but you need to devise some way of stopping it flopping about. If you need to unplug it, check that it doesnt wreck your socket too.

Very good, reliable
This piece is very good for its price. The only problem I can see with it is placing it on a way that it doesn't change its position while driving. In my car, that was no problem. The sound is crystal clear when there is no interference. By the way, stop that 'it is/isnt cd quality'. You cannot have cd quality when the device itself has not. Iphones/ipods play aac files, which are at 320kbps quality at best. So, quit that nonsense please, it doesn't have to do with this piece of equipment. Overall it's very reliable and ever since I got it and plugged it in it just keeps doing what I bought it for; no hassles, no malfunctions. Totally recommend this piece.

Bad purchase!
The radio transmitter works great and my iPhone 4 charges perfectly fine. The problems start to occur when your actually driving, whenever I turn a corner the holder just falls over onto one side, as you can imagine this is somewhat irritating especially when you try to lift it back it then turns off and you have to push it back in. I then tried using the rubber attachment which widens the holders car plug in, this worked for two right corners and then failed aswell. This in turn half unscrewed the rubber part and end of the charger so when trying to move it again it just fell apart and out of it's socket. Which in turn means that the rubber part and other bits where wedged in my socket which took a great amour of time and effort with tweezers to remove. I now don't know what to do and have no music :-(

I have to say the sound on this is perfect. I searched everywhere for a FM transmitter for my iphone 4 and after one cheap and nasty error i went for this one based on the reviews from here and im glad i did! I like to play my music loud in my car and have to say that it sound almost as good as if it was a CD playing. Nice also that it has the holder for the phone too (although you do need to take the cover off for it to fit!)overall im very satisfied with this product.

I ordered this item at 5pm on Friday and received it 11am Saturday. It fits in my Mitsubishi L200 well although I do have to prop the arm a little so my iPhone doesnt fall over.

FM Transmitter for iPhone 4
The sound quality is really good and its easy to use. However because my cigarette lighter is flat, I can't turn the cable therefore my iPhone hangs in it upside down and the adaptor is quite wide and I had to push quite hard to get it in which I now can't get out!!

The best FM transmitter i've had
This is by far the best FM transmitter I've purchased for my iphone 4. I've had a number of transmitters that all cost alot more than this one and found a flaw with most of them from dropping left & right speakers intermittently and having no depth to audio. So good bits on why to buy: its only 19.99, it's a charger, can be used as hands free by connecting the jack plug supplied(using the mic on iPhone but sound comes from cars speakers),easy to use and set up using 4 programable frequencies of your choice or auto search. Stays where you put it even over speed bumps.
Bad bit doesn't dock well if you have a case on.

Great, (if your cigar lighter is vertical)
Works pretty well- not perfect reception but not bad enough to bother me, and I'm quite picky.
The flexible neck mount doesn't work so well in cars that have the cigar lighter mounted flat, horizontally, To keep it out the way of the gear shift I have to wedge it upright, and it makes it hard to insert and remove. I assume this will be better when the lighter socket is vertical, as is more common.
It also needs the iPhone 4 to be taken out of it's case every time.

Very satisfied - couple of niggles
Having used the KitPerfect In Car FM Transmitter for iPod and iPhone I can say that I am very satisfied with the product. The sound quality is never an issue at all. It is easy to set up and use and would recommend to others.
I have however had 2 little niggles. First of all - whether or not this is the item or the car is up to debate, but the power cord that goes into the car charger slot was not a very good fit - having to force it in the first time around and struggling to remove it again. The car is a Toyota Yaris.
The other niggle is that depending on the angle you plug the charger into the car, the neck can be unstable. I find that if the charger is plugged in with the wire coming out vertically, that is more stable, however any other angle and the weight of the cradle causes the cradle to slowly fall from it's position.
both niggles are avoidable now but the item would only be worth 5* if these weren't issues at all.

Incar transmitter for iPod and iPhone.
I was looking for a simple, cheap solution for hands free use of my iPhone in the car and Kitperfect unit provided this and more. The FM transmitter allows me to listen to my iPod on long journeys. The sound reproduction is not brilliant but is good enough. In my book it was a good buy.

The transmitter works well ,didnt seem to lose the channell even tho we are in poor signal area. Only problem is the steel flexible mounting hose which doesnt want to go to the position we want and vibrates down. Maybe would be better in car where 12v socket not flat.

Excellent Product
The above product does everything other more expensive FM transmitters do. Sound quality is great and interference is minimal. Would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Charges the iPod as well, what more could one ask for? Rigid support works well and simple to use.

Excellent product and fast delivery
Another fast delivery from MobileFun which arrived the next day. Works perfectly with my iPhone 3GS and really surprised on how good the sound quality is. The handsfree option works but is limited since it uses the normal iPhone microphone. Definitely worth buying and the fit is very secure.

Very good delivery and quality
I was sceptical about the sound quality of these devices but gave it a try. Device was delivered in less than 24 hours, so 5* for that. Installation took 5 minutes (a bit of a tight fit to get the plug into power outlet on Nissan Navara, but does go with a firm push!) Once tuned to 88.1, pressed play, result- pretty good sound quality with no interference so far and the holder works well for me. Only wish I had bought this earlier and saved the cash I spent on an in car charger.

Just The Job
Read previous reviews and decided to risk buying it. Very speedy delivery and the item does exactly what it says it will do. Just like listening to my CD player. Easy to set up and get working. Needed to use the little sponge which is supplied to secure my i-pod 4th generation which is no trouble what-so-ever. It has 4 pe-set buttons which are easy to set if you want to. So long as the car radio is tuned to the same frequency as the transmitter, it works perfectly. Dosn't twist round at all whilst driving, but my i-pod 4 gen doesn't weigh anything. I'm well pleased.

Very poorly made
I thought this was going to be the answer to my in car charging and listening problems; sadly not. The construction of the holder is poor with low quality brittle plastic for the gripping body itself, coupled with an inflexible metal positioning rod (which was connected insecurely). I found mine defective with my iphone refusing to stay in position and regularly spinning around by 180 degrees whilst driving. Very poor.

Wasn't as described
When I ordered this the description distinctly stated there was an extra USB socket provided to allow you to charge another device at the same time. This was not the case when I received it. I raised a query online which took Mobilefun over a week to respond to despite 2 chase emails. By that time I had given up and returned the item. I see now that the description has been corrected - bit late for me and cost me return postage. Not the first time I've had to return items as not described properly. Don't think I'll come back again.

Easy peasy
After a great deal of surfing on the net for an iPod FM transmitter, I came across this one which had good ratings/reviews and considering some of the negative comments against well known manufacturers like Griffin & Belkin thought that this would be worthy of consideration. The design is great if your 12v socket is easily accessible and set up to the radio is simple. So far the sound quality has been very good (don't know what it would be like in a built up area with lots of FM transmissions)and is a good as listening to the iPod being directly connected via a jack directly into a car radio. Finally the price including postage is very good, so value for money I do think it's a good buy. Not forgetting that your iPod gets charged up aswell!!!

Great little unit...but...
Works beautifully, but not in my car! Unfortunately my car has its power socket beside the handbrake and it simply won't fit.
However my son made a grab for it and reports it works perfectly in his car. And now I've had to order another one for my wife! It's a hard life!

received item 17hrs later, for NI that is excellent, great sound good cradle , not sure about the security of the goose neck, but for the price a real good deal, personally i will hardwire the cradle , ie secure bracket, no dangling cables

When i lose the frequency i have to push the preset every time to get signal again. Either a flaw a defective unit i have. Trying to contact tech support. HAving said that, Mobile Fun UK is awesome and prompt, 5 stars for the service.

Useful piece of kit
I have an iPod Touch and fancied being able to play all the music on it in my car, and as the car stereo is a CD player with no inputs thought this would do the job. This gadget does the job, with good sound achieved through the device. I did some research and found 87.5 to be the best frequency to avoid radio station broadcasts, however this unit doesnt go down to that range so have to use the next best one. Also, I have an iSkin covering my Touch and this stopped the connector from fully inserting into the Touch and therefore not working. This results in me having to remove the iSkin before fitting the iPod into the cradle. Its these little niggles that prevented a 5 star rating which I really wanted to give based on the quality and sound reproduction.

Its an awesome cradle! I can actually use my iPhone in the cradle with its case on, which is always a major issue with other cradles. The USB and Audio socket are just perfect as I can hook it up to my iPhone when in its car mount for Sat Nav purposes. the sound quality is very good, but not perefect, occasionally sounds like a robotic echo. I really love this product and have no hesitation in recommending to everyone - 6 Stars!!

Nearly perfect
Have only used this for a monthbut has been great. The only thing is I would have liked to be able to rotate the iPhone 90 degrees to landscape, but apart from this it’s a great piece of kit and very easy to use - plug and play. Very secure in lighter socket whilst using my iPhone 3G - didn't wobble or fall out.
