Good Vibrations
After about two weeks with the Altec Lansing 903 Backbeat I am really pleased with it. The headset is pretty stable and comfortable although it doesn’t fit easily with a high coat collar. The controls are a bit fiddly but once you get the hang of them they seem to work well. It charges quickly and the charge sees to last for several hours.
The sound quality is excellent and the interface is wholly compatible with my Nokia N97. It also seems to connect to my Windows 7 computer and gives good audio reception with this. The unusually shaped earplugs are actually quite comfortable and ensure a good without cutting off all external sound.
There are some drop-outs with my Nokia N97 but I also get drop-outs with a standard headset connections; it seems to have something to do with the constant hunting that the device undertakes for new wireless networks. I have even known it drop out when a Wi-Fi enabled bus passes me while cycling. So I cannot blame this on the Headset. I don’t seem to get dropouts on my W7f Laptop.
It also works well when using the phone on my bicycle sending a clear signal and delivering high quality audio, however it doesn’t seem to pause any music to which I'm listening, it just mutes it.
My only sight criticism is, therefore, the slightly fiddly controls - you cannot operate them while wearing gloves at all! But this is minor and overall my feeling is that they are well worth the money an. after two weeks, I would definitely recommend them.

Altec Lansing Blackbeat 903 Bluetooth Headset
I am absolutely delighted with my purchase.
The headset paired straight away with my Blackberry Bold 9700 - no problem at all. The headset is very comfy to wear and it's great to have no wires. The sound quality is perfect as far as I'm concerned.

Backbeat = Bang on.........
As usual a super fast delivery from mobilefun with excellent communications and hustle free checkout.... keep up the good work mobilefun. The headphones are exactly as they are described lightweight, comfortable, durable, brilliant sound quality, and have some fantastic features which work perfectly as long as you have a proper phone (e.g. Nokia), and not an overpriced toy with a compatibility issue list longer than your arm (trust me, I know, I’ve been there). One thing you may consider is, downloading the user guide from Plantronics web site as the one in the box is basic, just a start up guide and the track skip is push forward or back and hold, not push in and forward or back, took me a little time to master that one too. All in all a fantastic bit of kit and would recommend it to anyone with a compatible phone.

Far out!
I've been looking for a set of Bluetooth headphones for some time now, and I eventually went for these. They were ordered on the Sunday and delivered on the Tuesday. After an initial charge, I was able to pair them with my Blackberry Curve 8900 with no problems. They're a bit of a fankle, (Scots word), to put on, but once fitted they are very comfortable and unobtrusive.
All the phone and play functions work well, with the exception of the 'Track Forward/Back', which involves pushing in the 'Volume' slider and moving it to skip - maybe I'm too heavy handed. I'll try it with the headphones off and see if I can crack it. Having said that, it's just as easy to skip on the phone.
I have a wide range of music loaded onto my phone - Allan Holdsworth, Bjork, Charles Mingus, Daft Punk, Frank Zappa, Luther Vandross, Martin Taylor, Scritti Politti, Rush and Yes to name a few, and they all sound fine - no lack of bass response and very crisp.
Having looked at the other two reviews, I felt like I was taking a leap in the dark, but I'm very impressed. I've gone for four stars due to the 'Skip' issue I mentioned, but I don't think it's a deal-breaker. An excellent pair of headphones at a great price.

So So
Purchased this to use with a iPhone 3gs, sounds OK, a little weak in the bass department for my liking, my real gripe is with the bluetooth connection, even with the iPhone on my person the connection is intermittent, tracks sound like they have gaps in them as the connection is lost and then recovers all within split seconds, very annoying. I've got a Jabra BT3030 that sounds better and no loss of connection, and it has a far longer bluetooth range.

Hmm... Im in two minds
Mobilefun has great delivery; my headset arrived the next day (ordered before 6pm). This is an absolutely great headset, its comfortable, small (enough), and has great sound quality for both music and answering calls. However, I have tried this headset with an Iphone 3GS and an Xperia X1 and the forward and back toggles don’t work!!! I contacted Mobilefun to see if it was a fault with the headset or compatibility, and (just my luck) it’s to do with compatibility. I asked if it’s possible to exchange it for another, more expensive headset, but due to hygiene reasons, I was told by mobilefun "NO". Please bare this in mind. However, it may still work properly with other phones. I would of given a higher review but due to the fact it states there a ‘30 Day No-Quibble Money Back Guarantee’ and mobilefun couldn’t really accommodate me, I’ve only awarded 3 stars :(
