A simply excellent product
For some time now I have been pondering a solution to my in car entertainment needs. I own a 10 year old golf with a 6 cd changer. This was fine until I purchased my new iphone 4s which I loaded all of my music onto - the only problem was how to be able to play this in a car which was never fitted for an iphone / ipod?
i considered changing the stereo, in fact my wife purchased a second hand one from ebay with an ipdod dock but this would have cost a lot of money to fit etc so back it went. Then I happened upon the idea of a bluetooth receiver / fm transmitter. After much research I settld on the blackberry vm-605 and I must say it is excellent. Very simple to use, extremely long battery life (i have been using it now for over 2 weeks to and from work and it is still on its original charge, and the way it handles incoming calls etc and 'plumbs' then through the car speakers is absolutely brilliant. People on the other end of the telephone have reported that my voice is loud and clear so the microphone is also excellent. The unit is small, discrete, stylish and robust. Being standalone also means you can move it from car to car in an instant. All in all the perfect solution and very good value for money. Brilliant!!!.

answer to my problem
This piece of kit does just what I expected and so far so good, even for a senior citizen. Now I can make and receive calls totally hands-free with bluetooth technology and voice recognition. Discreet speakerphone clips on visor easily and leaves no tell-tale marks when stashed away.

Fantastic solution
I had been looking for a while to find a device that enabled me to listen to my music on my iphone in the car, when I came across this device. It seemed to be the answer, with the bonus that it doubles as a hands free kit for the phone too! In use this has been great, it was easy to connect to the iphone (an iphone 4)and easy to connect with the car radio. It is great for listening to music, when a call comes in, it pauses the music and it even works with my satnav app, with the voice directions coming in in place of the music. The only downsides, are that it doesnt always work that well with the sat nav and when driving long distances it does need to be retuned to a new frequency - particularly on the M25. This however is straight forward and can be done whilst driving, as it is just like retuning your radio anyway. All in all a great solution and works just like the integral usb connection in my wife's new car

Great device!
I ordered this item from portugal, and everything went just perfectly! the device itself is great, it was definitely the right choice. I strongly recommend it. And I had no problems with the international delivery, which was fast and secure - great website to add to my "favorites"!.

Curates egg - mostlly good
Excellent service
product very good
works well
but connection to car radio loses a few seconds of conversation - which is not good.

High quality build and performance
Sleek unit with voice dial, A2DP so you can listen to your sat nav or sounds on the phone with optional playback through the car audio. Intuitive to use and I'm pleased with it!

Does what it says on the packet.
Not as efficient as a factory or retro fitted Bluetooth phone kit, but comes a very close second! It's discreet and sounds pretty clear even in my 19 yr old sons car with a modified exhaust system! Even the call receiver can't detect any difference.
Can't fault it. So all in all a good hands free gadget for any vehicle.

The best thing I have bought recently
I have had three of these sorts of things in the recent past and each has had major limitations. This one is the best, the use of the radio to listen to incoming calls is fantastic and everyone I talk to says they can hear me clearly. It supports voice dialing and uses the same charger as the current BlackBerry phone range.

You get what you pay for!
I'm delighted with this; as well as arriving within 24hrs of the order being placed, it is simple to use (just as well) and crystal clear through the stereo. I particulary like the voice activated dialing and batterlife is excellent. You could pay less (and I have in the past) but you will get less. Not forgoing that it was almost a tenner cheaper off this site that anywhere else I looked.

Great device
Bought this after trying cheaper alternatives to use with my HTC Desire HD. Answers calls with just a touch. Clear sound and is great as a bluetooth transmitter to my car radio speakers. Would recommend.

All round performer
Very simple to set up, and easy to use.
Battery life is much longer than I expected (I haven't had to charge it yet and I've had it 10 days).
Speech is clear and loud.
I love the fact it turns itself off when you walk away from the car which no doubts helps with the battery life.

ticks all the boxes for no fuss handsfree
Purchased the item to replace a fully fitted car kit that I took out when I changed to a company car. Connected straight away no fuss, speaker is very clear and very loud, fm technology works great for music and phone calls, but I have not had to use for phone calls due to loudness and clarity of its built in speaker. Voice dialling works perfectly, gets it right every time, battery life is very good also.
If yoy want excellent quality, loud, well built, easy to use handsfree with effective voice dialling, you should buy one of these!!!

VM - 605: Great piece of kit
This product works well with my Bold 9000. I am using it in a van and people I talk to have no problem with speech clarity, and neither do I. Music plays well through radio once a clear frequency is found (107.9 seems good). Battery life is good. I work nights and lasts me 10 - 12 hours easily. Well impressed - a very good product

Excellent Device
Using other people's cars has never been so good! Just slip this on the visor, click the button and it is connected to the phone, then press the radio button and tune in to listen to the music on the phone and make and receive phone calls with good audio - even in vans! Good battery life and charges on the same bb connector. Would be even better with stereo. The built in speaker is pretty good on its own for quick calls anyway.

Excellent Handsfree Solution
The visor mounted VM605 is a simple solution to handsfree. This product is very straight forward to use right from the box just switch the bluetooth of your phone on power up the VM605 accept the device on your phone enter 0000 and your connected. The clarity of speaker is excellent and the connection through my car stereo equally as good. Great points to note is that I can still play my songs whilst co-pilot gives directions - just at a lower volume when instructions are being given. Voice dialling for me using my iphone 3gs has been accurate just press the phone indicator down until you hear the beep before stating the name of the contact this works very well. Would recommend purchase of the blackberry mini usb mains charger as car charger is in the way when attached to visor. Once charged it lasts for approx 16 hours of talk time so no need to charge in the car. Overall extremely happy with my purchase.

A great product, easy to setup, tuned into a unused FM station calls come in crystal clear through the cars stereo speaker system. LED display clear to understand. Product looks good and works well.
