DO NOT BUY, SHOCKINGLY POOR QUALITY PRODUCT
This is a good looking product but will literally only last for a few weeks at best before the clips break and it it totally useless.
Read the other poor reviews, do not buy this product!

Nice case - but it won't last forever...
I am now on my second one of these. It fits the phone perfectly, and only increases the size a touch. The plastic has a nice non-slip rubberised texture and you can use all the phone's functions while it is in the shell, including opening the phone and using the keyboard. The only weakness is in the little plastic tags that hold each of the case halves to the phone - after a time they snap off, and the shell falls off. Despite this, I found this case so practical that I ordered another. As usual, the Mobile Fun shop delivered outstandingly quickly - you could never fault them on service!

Clips break easily
I have had two of these and they both had the same problem, the clips all broke off within a couple of months without ever taking it off and the back of it cracked by the camera.

Clips break easily
The clips on the side of covers break easily and will not hold onto phone.
This is a result of removing the covers often due to remove battery and some extends of wear and tear.
Mine broke in 1 months.

Clips to hold it on the phone break
Defies the purpose, when the cover protects, but does not stay on (even with normal usage). Need this item replaced, or better refunded!
Please keep looking for something else, a good solution must be out there.

Not Good For Even normal use
I bought this a week and a half ago, yes it clips over my phone quite nicely and looked very good. One tiny problem when you open the phone the top half meets the keyboard and if you do it a few times the clips on the toughshell will break off without you even removing the case I feel like I have been totally ripped off unfortunately not a good buy guys heed my words.
The one star is for the quick delivery only.

Not so good
It is a great shell for the phone for protection against scratches and general wear to the outside. BUT:
The hinges that holds the shell around the edges of the phone broke of after 3 weeks and then the back shell cracked where the phonelens is located. I have just been sent a new one from Mobile Fun on warranty but I know that it won't last any longer.
I do not recommend this unless you get 5pcs for the price of one so you can just throw it away when it breaks.
Concept is good, implementation bad.

Weakguard shell for N97
Should be called 'Weakguard Shell for N97' . My first one turned up with a couple of latches missing and resulted in the case cracking. Second one seemed to be better untill I took it off to either clean my phone or remove battery and a plastic latch,that hold the case onto the phone, has broke.

Complete Tat
Had 2 of these in the space of 2 weeks. Both times the catches that hold it onto the phone broke and the thing won't stay on then. The case itself is made from good tough plastic but the catches are made of the weakest plastic possible. You look at it funny and the catches break.

I was pleasantly surprised by the feel and the look of the casing. It fits very well and does not affect access to the keyboard.

Toughguard ? not very tough at all
Mine arrived very quickly and seemed to be a very good fit and nicely finished. 2 days after fitting the case, it started to crack around the slider switch. A replacement is promised and we will see whether this problem is a "one off". My previous experience of cases like this for Nokias is that they last a few days before failing.

Good but it doesnt last...
On the surface its a great cover, looks pretty nice on, and does what it says on the tin. Only prob is the hinges are tiny and easily break. The day I got it 2 of them were already broken. Wasn't a major prob as the rest worked and it help in place. 4 days later the top hinges are all gone and i havent taken it off once or tried to. So thats pretty sucky,
Can't recommend this with its low build quality.

Breaks in a week, worthless
This is a total waste of money, I got my one and it broke within a week.
I ordered a silicone cover now and it is much better than this one.

ToughGuard Shell For Nokia N97 is a crap
First of all I thank you for the quick shipment i normally received my item from UK in a week but mobilefun.co.uk is quicker than I expected 3 days in Spain(canary islands) but the bad news is when i got my Tough Guard Shell For Nokia N97 i notice that there is a CRACK in the middle where the charger is located ,2ND when you fit the upper casing the touch screen it disable itself because the plastic side is touches the screen so in that case the phone touchscreen is useless .

After some really positive reviews initially - it appears our manufacturer has allowed standards to slip. Please be assured we are talking to Toughguard to get this issue resolved.

Broken Clips
Case is good and worth a tenner but a word of caution. Due to removing the back section half a dozen times to replace the memory card, remove battery etc the clips broke on the back section. The front clips broke shortly after just through general use.
Case won't stay on now and is ruined.
I'd buy this again if I wasn't going to be taking it off as it fits like a glove and provides great protection.

worth a tenner
no probs with hinges or fit . These cases are mass produced so maybe u got a friday afternoon special . Dropped a load of metal components on mine today , damage to oem screen cover = 1 dent. Damage to handset = 0. WEll WORTH A TENNER

Hmmmm, No
OK so put it on and no issues like the ones mentioned with the screen, my main issue is the hinge is held open by the case. Where it would normally comfortably click home when the keyboard is hidden the hinge cannot close fully. Looks OK but cant help but worry about the hinge being damaged over time as it cannot fully close. For me the N97's individual because of the hinge (and its a sexy beast)I think i will get someting else for protection

n97 toughguard case
Well worth a tenner. Good fit and none of the adjustments required as mentioned by previous comments. Left the original screen cover on for a bit of extra protection. Looks good and is slim enuf to be almost unnoticeable. Go for it !

I like the look but . . .
The cover looks great but after a short while the edges on two of the grips on the rear of the cover snapped (seemed to be under a lot of pressure)and now gets in the way of the spring loaded on/off button on the side. I trust the returns dept will do their job!

Not friendly with screen protector
Happy with the shell, seems to provide good protection as well as not being too bulky.
Only problems I've had with this are if you are using the Martin Fields screen protector it can cause the shell to press down on the screen effectively preventing use of the phone. A couple of slivers of scotch tape inside the shell over the nokia logo fixed this though.

Nice one
Ordered item 17:15 010709, received 08:30 020709. Brilliant MobFun service :-).
Okay, the "cover" is sturdy and affords more protection, and looks good.
Fitted the front cover but found it disabled the touch screen :-(. MobFun offered an exchange, no problem, but all it needed was to take a little sandpaper to inside of the cover and "shave off" the small ridge of plastic. Et voila. Job done :-)
Previous reviewer also seems to have had similar problem but blamed it on the screen cover - NOT the reason.

Great Case
Much better than the old crystal case I bought for my Nokia N96. Case is made from a durable tough plastic, bought seems like it is coated in a matt finish. Looks great on my N97. Highly Recommended ++++++++

N97 ToughGuard case
As in the other reviews when first put case on touch screen stopped working. After reading reviews everyone had same problem, so i got a stanley blade a rubbed the inside of screen case on nokia side of cover and this resolved the issue. Did notice a moulding join/mark and removed this and approx .5mm at an angle to fix. Apart from that fits well and looks pretty smart.
