Didn't work for me either.
I really struggled with this design. I don't think the instructions that come with it are very good but ultimately if you get in and out of your car with it on your belt you will probably detatch it and eventually break the plastic coonector.
I am now looking for a replacement.

Could be better!
The design of this belt clip is very good if worn with a slim 'dress' type belt. Not so good with wider jeans type belts. If the phone is caught, in my case whilst getting into a car for example, then the small lugs which connect the spring clip together can break off. This makes the clip attachment unsecured so the phone can come adrift from the belt.

Bad design
Having bought this item numerous times I am very disappointed with the size of the 'lip' on the circular removeable part. This 'lip' is far too small and weak. After aboout 3 months of use ( especially if you get in and out of a car a lot) this 'lip' cracks or breaks and the phone falls off your hip!

Slide swivel clip
On the whole an excellent product (used with Krusell case for Nokia N95) but so far I've broken two of the 'connectors' which slot into the belt clip. Maybe I'm just too heavy handed!!! Still very satisfied with the product as a whole.

Side swivel clip
Clip worked brilliantly untill spring failed and phone came off trouser top band - fortunately this was in the car so didn't loose my phone!
Will try another just in case it was me being heavy handed......
