R4i Revolution Card For DSi

I honestly didn't believe it would work. My daugter kept telling me about this, but I didn't realise. We spent a lot of money this xmas, but we'll probably get the most value from this. Note: It doesn't come with a CD and the download link here IS WRONG!!! You basically have to locate a mini operating system to put on your MicroSD card. It is simple, all you have to do is download a compressed file (in winrar format), and unpack the files to the root of your SD card. Then put your games, music, videos, etc in sub folders. Which OS you use depends on the R4i card you have. The download link on this site only refers to R4i Ultra cards. However, some MobileFun customers may receive R4i Gold cards which does need a different file set to work with the latest DSi, you'll have to hunt around to fine 'ENGLISH.rar'. R4i Ultra, (label: r4ultra) file 'en_1.55.rar', ver 1.55 R4i Gold, (label: R4ids) file 'ENGLISH.rar', ver 1.30b

Ordered this on thursday got it on saterday. works great with DS Lite and there is lots of homebrew out there like DSorganize to play with. BTW mine was a R4i Gold NOT ultra and don't download the R4i software with mobile broadband as it might not get all the files you need. Excellent service very fast

Ordered this item on the Sunday night and received the item on the Tuesday in the post, most impressed with there service.

When I read the only review for this product it convinced me to buy it. Sadly, this card has not been the answer to my problems and has turned out to be a waste of £33.78 (including 2gb Micro SD Card). I tried to download the s'ware recommended from the previous review with no luck whatsoever and I have lost count of the number of other R4i sites I visited with the same results. I'm pretty tecnology savvy, but maybe the previous reviewer could assist someway with this problem and tell me where I'm going wrong. I'd send it back and ask for a refund, but it's been in and out of my DSi and PC so many times I doubt Mobile Fun would entertain that. Reviews on other sites for this product haven't exactly filled me with hope, either. I'd give it no stars if I could. Any help me to get this to work will be greatly appreciated. P.S. Never had this problem with the old, cheaper R4 for the DS Lite. That costs half the price of this waste of time. I feel I've been robbed.

Odered my R4i card from MobileFun.co.uk at 5.45pm and it arrived with my post at 8am the next day - v. impressed. A lot of people posting in forums have had R4i cards that don't work. However, I can say that this card DOES work with the DSi. Don't download any old software off the Internet. Make sure you get the software from www.r4ultra.com
