Should be standard with every TP2
This is a brilliant little cradle and 2nd battery charger and stand. It also makes it look good by the side of my bed, where my TP2 can now act as a radio and alarm clock, all tidy. I used to use these a lot with other PDA type devices, but then they disappeared. I now have a nice stand, spare battery always ready to go and a simple cradle to drop my TP2 into. Only disappointments: The blue light on the front, should dim or be able to turn off - it lights up the room! Bit of tape will sort that out.

Nice looking, but...
...my Touch Pro2 doesn't feel quite as secure as I'd like; and I sometimes get connection errors when I'm trying to sync: so I'm also learning to be very careful when I connect it. (As the previous reviewer said, it can be difficult: unless you get the angle just right... -- and you can't use the battery cover to lean on, or use as a guide, either....) As to charging only through the USB lead: I'm always a little wary (especially when the cradle has a spare battery slot in it...) -- so I used the power block/wall wart going into the DC/standard mini USB slot; and the USB cable to connect the HTC 'custom' mini USB/headphone socket to connect to my computer. (As a bonus, there's also a standard 3.5mm stereo socket on the back, as well, marked with a speaker socket....) Overall: a nice bit of kit... -- just a bit fiddly.

HTC Touch Pro2 Deluxe Desktop Charging Cradle
Looks good and seems well made. It's neat, tidy and compact. However, trying to align the device correctly proves very, very difficult and I'm always concerned that I'm going to damage the connector. Also, if the device charges and syncs via the USB lead, why is there a second charging lead? No instructions were included to explain this. Service from Mobile Fun was good.
