3-in-1 Handsfree Headphone Adapter with ExtUSB for HTC Mobile Phones

This is an excellent low cost handsfree solution that really should have been included in with the HTC handset. The HTC's non-standard mini-USB becomes a standard 3.5mm stereo jack plug socket into which you can plug any old earphones you have. The Microphone is in the plastic bulb. The wire is little short for me - it could have done with being 10-15cm longer - but I may be over critical.

Neutralizes one of the principal disadvantages of the HTC Magic (otherwise a great phone): the absence of a standard 3.5 mm audiojack. This adapter allows you to hook up the Magic to a soundsystem at home or in the car (and it is possible to charge at the same time). There are plenty of such adapters advertised (incl from HTC itself); I must have tried everyone of them but most don't work with the Magic, or break down after 3 months. This one, however, does the job. HTC should include it in the original box of the handset; might sell a few more phones!

This does not work on the HTC Tattoo.

Recieved the Adapter this morning, and quite literally open the pack, plugged the usb end in the HTC Magic, and the Sony Ericsson earphones into the adaptor end, and hey presto..works like a dream.
