Bought one of these (from here) in July 2009. It's been on every day since then (ok, so I turn it off most nights unless it's charging) and it's still going strong, charging it up about once a week. It's a simple phone, and easy to use. Camera's pretty bobbins, but would be ok to use in an emergency. The texting dictionary is either very small, or it forgets all your words after a while, which is annoying. And the central button between the 4 direction keys defaults to "launch WAP browser" which is annoying. But these little niggles are entirely negated by the inclusion of a torch. I'll never buy a mobile without a torch again... it's just so useful. The fact that it's rugged (and waterproof) really helps too. I see there's a newer model out there for only a tenner more. If it's as good as this, it'll be what I buy if this one ever bites the dust.

light and easy to use and would defiantly recommend.

as for the b2100, great phone for use in factory or building sites, the noise cancelation was tested next to a 6 litre diesel engine - end caller reported background noise but clear voice. i haven't tested the water tightness (no point losing a good phone if it's not) but the battery cover is very secure with rubber seal and charger socket is well sealed. it has all the basic features with a decent enough camera and screen compared to the days of the old nokia sports phones. i would prob recomend the b2700 if you can afford the extra £30 or so, just for the extra features and 2mp camera. oh and flashlight is very good for what it is. and so far it's survived a few falls from my pocket!

Great phone in all respects except one. The text font is tiny and not adjustable. Annoying as the MMS font is.
