No ringtones - microphone not recording in video m
I bought this phone for my wife.
Not so impressed by it. It came without any ringtones. Although the camera is fantastic, the video mode does not record the voice. I am still studying the various manuals (no useful manual came with the phone) that I found online.
It is a phone with lots of potential but as if it was never finished properly, and rushed to market.
Unlike other people reviewing this phone I was not fortunate to get a free 8GB SD-mem-mini, so I had to buy one.

superb phone
i picked this phone for my upgrade which i received a few weeks ago , when i first started using it i wasn`t too keen on it as i was not used to touchscreen phones as this is the first touchscreen phone i`ve owned , however after a few days playing with it and getting used to it , theres no way i`m changing this phone as it is simply wonderful , easy to use , great camera and video player , and a free 8 gig memory card to store all your stuff on . i would recommend this phone to anyone and i give it 5 stars .

Renoir better than expected.
This is my first touch screen phone. (I also have a Nokia N96.) I had read some negative reviews but I enjoy using the Renoir much more than the N96 Wifi connection is much much faster than the Nokia and browsing is a more pleasant experience Yes the screen can be a bit 'sticky' at times but nothing to worry about, and as for those who complain about fingermarks these are not noticeable in use, and anyway can be quickly removed with a cloth. The main niggles are some applications like BBCiplayer do not currently work on the Java platform although YouTube is fine which is not the case with the Nokia; and the way that music tracks are arranged alphabetically rather than track order seems rather silly though this can be worked around using play lists However music sounds brilliant courtesy of the mobile Dolby playback system and videos when converted with the included Divx mobile software are great The 8g memory card included is a bonus and the phone will take the new 16g cards. Altogether the Renoir is now my main phone and have lent the Nokia to my son!

I love it
I really love this phone, looks and feels great and it`s really easy to use! camera is amazing especially taking videos, the recording is so smooth and clear! I got a really nice surprise when i found an 8GB memory card inside the phone which comes free!! battery isn`t great though, you will have to charge it every two days if your using it all day, but thats prob cuz it has so much stuff packed into it and its still worth getting... :)

amazing phone
Previously owned lg viewty and nokia n96, but the new renoir is probably the best phone i ever owned. The video recording is almost dvd quality with optional fast and slow motion recording, also has a great video editing tool to put subtitles and music over the top of them. Picture quality is much better than the viewty and comes with a xenon flash and other cool features like beauty shot, art shot and smile shot etc (also has option to turn off camera shutter sound!). The touchscreen also seems more responsive than previous touchscreen phones. Music sounds great too especially when dolby sound is turned on. Also comes with a 8GB memory card! you must buy this phone!
