Well satisfied
Received charger early next day. Does all it`s supposed to do. Charges and conects to itunes via windows 7 64 bit o/s with no problems. First connection to charger I got and error message saying the device was not compatible but re connected a couple of times and bee fine ever since. Possibly bad connection. Would recommend. Great value,

Your iPhone will not fit if you use a case!
If you use a case with your iphone, like the majority of iphone users, it won't fit on this charging dock.

Good product for an excellent price
Much cheaper than official iphone cradle and works great.
As others have mentioned -it does have very bright light on it so you'll need to cover it if putting near your bed. It's also a little stiff to pull the phone off the charger - requiring you to hold the charger while pulling the phone out.... maybe it will loosen in time.
Very happy with it.

Really pleased with this charger/dock - does exactly what is said it would do on the product description. Like the blue 'on' light on the front which confirms it's connected even though the iPhone screen has gone dark into sleep mode.

Pretty Good
This product is great for the price. The delivery was quick. The only slightly annoying thing about the product is that it has a very bright blue light which, if you have it near your bed, you 'll need to cover up.

Applie Iphone 3GS desktop sync
I bought this about a week ago and soon after using it plugged into the mains the supplied mains plug stopped working. The cradle still lights up when used via USB, but the mains charger carries no signal to the cradle anymore, there is just a slow, dim pulsating red glow on the back of the plug. I cannot use the cradle to charge from the mains.
The cradle is ok, but cannot handle landscape view of the phone, it would be really good if the holding clips could be adjusted to allow the iphone to be fitted horizontally to watch desktop news and movies. That would also leave the speaker more exposed. When used in portrait mode, the speaker is muffled quite a bit by the base of the cradle.
I bought a car Iphone holder with built in loudspeaker, just a clever use of plastic acoustics no battery or electrics required. It would be great if there was a cradle which could amplify the signal like this for handsfree and video use?

Good Value, Does the Job
It's a fairly solid piece of kit and does the job whilst looking attractive enough.
Only gripes would be that it's a little difficult to actually plug my iPhone in - the connection is a little snug and that it won't charge if you plug the cradle into laptop docking station (there obviously isn't enough power) it has to go directly into a USB port.
Other than that you can't complain for £12.

Pretty good, great for price
It's a good bit of kit, I use an iPhone 3GS with it and seems to charge it nice and quick, the phone is held by a plastic frame which, to be totally honest is slightly too small for the phone so has to be wedged in a bit but doesn't really take anything away from it, the plastic bends just very very slightly to allow this which then gives a flush appearance, the little blue light is a nice looking feature but a bit annoying by ur bed side, all in all well worth it, and compared to 25 quid for a very basic charger from apple, a steal

Item does what it says on the tin. I use this as a bedside cradle for my iPhone which shows the time.
Love the fact it has a USB cable and a mains plug.
The blue light on the front is so bright it lights up my bedroom like a search light, but blue tack or black tape solves that. It's a little fiddly getting the phone into the cradle.
Overall, for price and what you get it's great and would recommend.

Quick and simple
Nice fast delivery. The product looks nice and neat and simple. Charges and syncs with itunes and looks good next to my computer with the screen clearly on display.

Works a treat and really easy. Does require connection directly to the PC or Laptop or via a powered USB hub, as non powered USB hub only works Intermittently for charging.

Natty Little device
I've found the device very usefull, infact I might even buy another couple, 1 for work and a spare for when I'm hotdesking. Nothing to configure, nothing to go wrong, a little bit of a tight fit with the bumper strip on, but for convenience and ease of use a full 10 marks from me.

Good product
This product is very good and it works very well. Just a small niggle though. It is an extremely tight fit for a 3GS iphone and needs 2 hands to remove it from the cradle. Not ideal when you want to use the phone normally.

Desk cradle
I received my desk cradle this morning (extremely speedy delivery, only ordered approx 1pm previous day). Immediately set this on my desk and plugged into my pc via the USB link. Unfortunately it did not appear to charge so have reverted to the mains option as this PC is not the one the phone normally synch's to.
Although this is fine for my purposes it may be an issue for someone else. Will investigate further..
Nice compact yet sturdy little unit just what I was after.

Pretty good
Bought 2 of these to replace ageing alarm clocks for me and the wife.
iPhone 3g seats well but the ipod touch 2g can be a bit faffy in the dark. The blue LED is hellishly bright at night but that was readily resolved with a blob of bluetack.
Swapped out the transformers for original apple chargers, cable could be longer.

Brilliant Purchase
After deciding that 22.00 + VAT for Apple's own official dock was a bit much, I had a good look around and I'm glad to say I came across this product.
Ordered yesterday (May 27th) at 1.30pm, chose Royal Mail Special Delivery option. Arrived this morning (May 28th) and I'm very pleased with the value for money.
In all honesty I was expecting something very flimsy, but the plastic base is solid, the iPhone is securely connected when you push it down into the dock and I can confirm that charging and sync'ing work absolutely fine.
The fact that you get a USB cable as well as a AC adapter head for that cable (so you can charge at the bed side, or take the dock on the road) is further testament to the value of this product.
I'm seriously considering a second to put by my bed.
As is the case with the vast majority of these docks, you do need to take your protective case/shell off before docking; not a big deal for me personally.
Happy to rate this 5/5 and would highly recommend.

Not too good to be honest
I ordered 2. Arrived in 1 day as usual, brilliant service.
BUT - has anyone actually tested (especially with 3GS):
iPhone 3G and 3GS: Plug the USB from cradle in to PC and try to sync with iTunes - No way - It won't work. So you must still use original cable for syncing.
Charging works BUT (3GS) if you leave it in the charger after it gets to 100% full you get an error message saying "this unit was not made for the iPhone". So it's useless for displaying a clock which is why I bought them. LOL.
I threw away packaging on arrival so cannot really return. No probs - only £10.00 each but now I still need to order an official Apple version.

Doesn't work with Cases
I bought having read the other reviews, but I use a clip on plastic case and the iPhone will not fit in this charger with it attached. You can (forcibly) remove the plastic guide on the cradel, but the iPhone is unsupported leaning back and I don't think the connector would last long.

Simple dock
This is fantastic value for money if it does what you want.It charges your iphone and connects it to your computer via a standard usb cable (included). As a bonus it includes a uk plug with a usb power connector so that you can charge your iohone when you are not at your computer. There are no other connectors. It doesn't quite have Apple style, but it is far from objectionable and is weighty enough to sit firmly on your desk. To get the same functionality from apple would cost you three times as much. A no brainer.

Great piece of kit
More weighty and solidly built than I expected for a piece of plastic. Very snug fit when attaching the iPhone to the cradle. Does just what I want it to. Bought two of them just after reading the positive reviews and wasn't disappointed.

Doesnt work with USB Hubs
This item works perfectly plugged into a USB port on my MB, but with a USB hub it gives the not compatible with this accessory warning.
Thats why it lost one star, other than that, it seems perfect for the job.
Excellent delivery as well, exactly 30 minutes after I placed my order it was dispatched, and delivered in less than 24 hours!

Poor at syncing
Great delivery by Mobile fun as usual. This product good at charging, but extremely poor at syncing. i.e. slow and Itunes sometimes detect it and sometimes not. Plugin the original and everything fine. It is ok as a charger on my desk and that is why I am keeping it. For trouble free syncing and backup use only Apple original or if it says "Works with Iphone 3Gs".

Great customer service
We pleaced an order for various Iphone chargers etc. at 13.30 on a Monday and goods were delivered at 09.00 the following day! If only all web suppliers were that efficent. We did have one faulty part, this was returned and the following day a replacement part was dispatched. Can't fault their serive. Will use them again.

First time customer and it's taken about 2 weeks to deliver! Had I known this I wouldn't have bothered! You really need to have a contigency plan for when the post service is disrupted...

Well designed but -----
Very well designed charging unit and the rear support holds the iPhone 3g really well. As I keep the charger at the side of the bed the only problem I found is that the holder has a very bright blue light and the charging plug has a very bright red light. This was easily overcome with a couple of blobs of blu tac so if you are looking for a charger/dock then this unit is much better than the original white iPhone charger.

Useful Desktop Tool
Makes charging my i-Phone very much easier and syncing is easy too. A nice addition would be to have a double connection so that the phone could be synced and/or charged without removing the cable from the mains plug. However all in all an excellent product that looks good on the desk.
