Coolest iphone dock ever
This is an awsome charging dock for the iphone 3G, and to my suprise it was was genuine Apple too.
Really funky and cool!

Not for iphone 3G yes charges but ..
Not for iphone 3G yes it charges the 3g iphone but the line out (headphone) jack at the back of the dock does not output sound. i.e if you were wanting to output sound to powered speakers. Dock also does not hug the iphone, it just stands on the connector alone, not nice. Beware charging only. Mine is going back. There is a 3g specific one out as seen on the apple store.

Not for 3G iPhone
Be aware before buying. This is NOT the 3G iPhone specific dock. This is the most recent version of the universal dock. Your iPhone will charge in this dock, but you won't be able to use the speakerphone function or iPod. For this you WILL need the 3G specific one that is slimmer and has speaker/mic grilles in the front.
