Martin Fields Screen Protector - Apple iPhone 3GS / 3G

This excellent product has transformed my iPhone 3G which was previously protected by a Marware Sport silicone case and screen protector. I've kept the case but replaced the soft screen protector with the Martin Fields screen protector – the result is better than new! Follow the installation instructions carefully in a dust-free environment and you won't be disappointed. A specimen example of a premium product which performs brilliantly – it's worth every penny of the premium price.

This is an excellent screen protector which improves with washing - both sides. Unlike cheap protectors when you remove it from the iphone it doesn't leave any sticky residue on the screen. The first time I put it on I ended up with air bubbles as I hadn't cleaned my screen properly, but, took it off, held it with tweezers as I ran it under a cold water tap (both sides), cleaned my screen properly, and it went on easily and I am very clumsy as I suffer from arthritis. No loss of touch and clearer vision in strong sunlight for reading but haven't tried taking photos in strong sun since I got it (British summer!)

When I first put the protector on it looked brilliant. After two days it was like an ice rink, covered in scratches. The product is total garbage. On my old phone I had a zagg shield, which was totally unscratched and perfect after 1 years use. I'm now going back to it.

I've had one of these screen protectors on an old phone a long time ago and loved it. I paid the price of buying this brand but am utterly disapointed. Within 1 month the screen is so badly scratched that I am now having to remove this and throw it away. My cheap imported ebay protector was far better than this. Will not use this brand again, they've obviously changed to cheaper materials and are a waste of money.

Easy to set up on the screen without any dust. Facile à mettre en place sans poussière. J'espere que la traduction n'est pas trop mauvaise !

Really easy to apply, simply one little air bubble (not noticeable as my silicone case covers it) and you can't even tell that it's on there at all, does not interfere with te touchscreen interface at all either! Does a great job of protecting the screen from dust, fingerprints, scratches .. etc to avoid damaging the screen and you can't even tell it's there. Does the job perfectly. Definitely recommend, it's worth the price! Would also recommend buying a silicone case too, to protect the back. By the way, in my opinion there is no need for a twin pack of these, they aren't the flimsy plastic peel-off removable screen covers, but are made to last! One is fine! (although there is a method of removing it if you want to) - a must buy for protecting your iPhone screen!

Firstly, the previous reviewer is talking utter tripe! There is nothing wrong with this quality screen protector if it is applied properly with care and attention. It does NOT kill the sensitivity of the screen as he claimed, not at all. To apply, clean the iPhone screen with a good clean microfiber cloth. If you have any little fibers on the screen after cleaning, take a piece of Scotch Magic Tape and lift them off. Take the screen protector, line it up at the bottom of the screen where the home button is and then simply drop it and it will apply itself to the screen without leaving any air bubbles. If you need to remove it, take a piece of Scotch Magic Tape (which you can get at stationary shops) and gently try to lift a corner until it peels off. It can be washed and reused should it get soiled on the side you apply to the screen. This screen protector is made in Japan so it's premium quality as most Japanese made items are. Apply it properly with care and it'll last a long time.

After a day of use I've thrown it away: - It kills the touch sensitivity of the screen. Might be ok to use with a stylus but not with your finger. - Bit of a fiddle to line up properly - Air bubbles difficult to completely avoid / get rid of - Harder to clean than the screen On the plus side at least it didn't leave the screen sticky when I took it off!
