Jabra BT530 Bluetooth Headset

This is the best in car I've had - pity the on/off switch fell off. The supplier replaced the unit promptly.

Super comfortable I dont use ear clip just in ear rubber pieces sometimes touch my ear to see if still there cause its so lightweight I forget about it Never falls out As for sound quality I dont know havent had someone call me with it but noise reduction seems effective enough Im told Huge problem The on off slider fell off when I accidentally got my nail under it since it doesnt move easily making the unit unuasable but after 1 2 h tiny amount of superglue stupid inner design of this slider and carefully opening the unit by just pulling bottom and top apart using my two thumbnails I glued outer slider part to inner part of slider then pressed unit together and voila Two very tiny pieces of plastic this will only make sense to you if have this problem slider actually works much better now Just though I would help if someone else ends up in this situation without being an engineer like myself. Dont know what guarantee covers, would still take long time. If not for this 5 stars. If you arent super at fixing things you're out of luck. Maybe 1 or 2.

Been using this for about 3-4 weeks now and I have to agree with the above reviews. Small, light and well built. Unlike other hands free kits I've used in the past this one you can actually forget about as it's so light and comfortable. All is not perfect as the USB is one of the slime-line ports (similar to what you find on WD Passports) rather than the standard micro-USB which is found my phone so an extra cable to carry if I need to charge the headset. The other niggle is that the sound can be faint in loud environments, even when using alternative ear adaptors. However both of these are minor issues in what is probably one of their best headsets to date. I've also used this to transcribe notes to my phone/laptop, and the quality is excellent when I play these files back so I know people will be able hear me on the other end. In fact many don't realise I'm on a mobile phone!

My freinds were always amazed that my BT250 had lasted so long, and now it is retired, this new Jabra is excellent, small, light and excellent clarity. The on/off slider is great compared to having to hold down the button for four seconds on the old one.

Brough this headset on 2 factors - 1, that I have brough a Jabra before (the Jabra Jx10), and the other because of other reviews. Must say although it's early days yet I am very impressed. Look online on the web for the user manual, but although manual a little unclear it is simple to work out. Impressed with sound quality, comfort fit and weight, light as a feather. Jabra has come up trumps again, although a little disappointed that their was no 2 year warranty on this model. Best for personal or business user as noise reduction is a major plus. Would I recommend this product - definitely. I give it 9.5/10 (1/2 point away for the plastic silver bits on it, minor silly point I know).

Well! what can I say about this product, simple, it does everything and more what it says on the box. Great piece of kit, really small, fit's in my ear no problem, easy to use, crystal clear, I could go on and on but you can tell I am really pleased with this product

A superior quality product and very comfortable to wear. I can wear it all day with no discomfort. The choice of fitting options that come with it are excellent. I use it with both my phone and ipod (with a bluetooth adapter) connected simultaneously I listen to ipod radio podcasts and also music, whilst walking the dog. It is of course only mono for the ipod, but then with an ear free I can cross busy roads and still be aware of my surroundings! The sound quality is good. If a phone call comes in, the headset automatically connects to the call. When the call is finished it reverts back to the ipod. I like the fact it has definite easily found buttons for switching on, volume and answering the phone. The noise cancelling feature works very well. I tested it by calling my home answer phone and stood next to a radio on medium volume. This was picked up well on the answer phone. When I spoke the radio could barely be heard in the background and my voice was very clear. Overall this one of the best headsets on the market. Highly recommend!

Wow, Jabra really have done well. The sound/call quality is brilliant. Considering the price I thought nothing could come close to my old Jawbone, but this really does the job - and is actually smaller than the Jawbone.
