Battery charging problem
I've had this phone for a few months now, like other users find it scratches ever so easily if you have it in your pocket or handbag next to a set of keys!! I am currently having charging problems with it, the battery symbol shows its charging but yet it doesn't. Its temperamental charging when it wants to, dont know if its got connection probs think I will need to report it.

Nice but flawed
Lovely to look at and lovely to hold. Highly configurable and easy to use once you get the hang of it (nokia users beware, it's all different in samsung land). Has a good MP3 player and web browser and recharges from any USB socket.
BUT:
the ring volume is much too quiet and the hands free volume pretty poor too.
All that nice new shininess scratches easily.
Battery life is not good (two days max), especially if you use 3G or the MP3 player for long.
The PC Studio software is not great.

Good Build - Bad Battery Life
I bought this phone a few weeks ago to replace an earlier, faulty Samsung. The build seems to be very good, strong bodywork and great sliding action. The touch controls take just a little while to get used to, but once you get it, it's great. The one real gripe I have with this phone is battery life - or lack of it! Even on the light usage I give it, it needs to be recharged every 24 to 36 hours where as my old U600 ran for several days. Come on Samsung, you can do better than that!
