Buying from Mobile Fun
Ordered one type of phone then changed mind for another, simple phone call to amend order and great support from team.
Phone delivered by Royal Mail no problems.
Thanks Mobile Fun

Neat package, smooth design
Had the phone for five days now, and while I'm having the same battery issues reported by others, the phone should last me 3 days with moderate use. I send 125+ text messages a day on average, about 15 minutes or so making calls - most of the battery goes on the texting.
Apart from that, the phone is quick and responsive, keys are a bit small but no big problem getting used to them.
It's a brilliant phone, smooth to use, great connectivity options and other business features.
Buy it for the brilliant software/hardware package but don't expect any miracles out of the battery because I was honestly quite disappointed when it lasted only 2 days after I stayed up one night messaging for four hours.

A brlliant little smartphone
It's small. It works.
This is my best phone yet. It calls, connects, synchs, browses, emails, plays and navigates (with Touch BT GPS receiver) without fuss. The only occasional system crashes I've experienced in several weeks have been while using voice dialling.
I have been pleasantly surprised by battery life in allround use. I generally charge it overnight, but often it's showing 5 bars at the end of the day. Isn't supplied with memory card or a car charger so you may need these.
***** 5 stars!

Battery follow up
Feedback on battery. Thanks to MF for new (and better battery.) Charged for 20 hours at the start - make sure you are not tempted to do less than this. With 3G switched off as well as blue tooth (unless needed) you can expect to get 2.5 days battery life from normal use. As soon as you use either of the above for prolonged periods, naturally battery will drop quickly. Awesome phone. Highly recommended

Battery Issues and remedies (I hope)
The phone still continues to impress but have continued issues with the battery life. To Mobile Fun's credit they are sending me a new battery. I have also spent 50 minutes waiting for Nokia customercare to help me. They strongly advise you switch off 3G unless you need to make a video call, browse the web or use the E51 as a modem for your lap top. At all other times switch to GSM only. You can still make and receive e-mails perfectly happily using Mail for Exchange without 3G. This saves your battery a lot apparently. To switch to GSM mode you do the following: Menu - Tools - Settings - Phone - Network - Network Mode - select GSM mode. Whenever you need to browse the internet, use E51 as a modem or video conference, simply do exactly the same sequence and select Dual Mode from the menu. I will report back whether the combo of new battery from MF and change of settings has impact on battery life. Lets hope so.

Have I found the perfect phone?
I am someone who is pretty demanding when it comes to a mobile phone. I want the lot. I want all the functionality of a nokia phone (love them - used them for years) but also want the benefits of push e-mail and real time synchronisation with my e-mail, contacts, and calendar. The E51 does the lot. It's not perfect, but is there such a thing? It is lovely to look at and handle, has all the nokia phone functions that we have come to love but also has complete sync with MS exchange server through nokia's Mail for Exchange. It does not have a qwerty keyboard so long e-mails are not great unless you are a demon texter. It has 3.5G as well and is a doddle to set up as your lap top's portable 3.5G modem, so any lengthy e-mails can be done that way. 2 gripes. It uses a lot of battery with all that comms stuff so buy a spare charger for the road. Also, if you like photos, this is pretty lame at 2mp. For me though, this is as close to perfect as it gets!
