Small is great!
I've never really understood the difference between the different sizes and shapes of Bluetooth Dongles or how they perform, so I bought the smallest one I could find! I run an Imac, the Dongle plugged into a spare usb port on my keyboard (and stays there) and worked straight away without any software or problems - highly reccomended.

Non event
Although my device connected to my PC, it didn't pair to my Bluetooth head phone - sorry I tried and tried!

Does what it says on the tin
Does exactly what the product info states. Plugged it into my Win 7 laptop and it installed all the relevant drivers straight away. I then was able to pair a bluetooth headset with it and used it with Skype. All completed within about 10 minutes. Small enough to be left in all the time, including when putting my laptop in a laptop bag.

Neat Solution
Ideal dongle for my 3 year old Dell Laptop running XP. Can be left in place permanently, and small enough not to impede use of USB socket immediately below. Recognised by computer and up-and-running almost immediately.

Up And Running
To redress the balance.
After initial problems, the Dongle now works perfectly. Unlike some reviewers who reported automatic operation once plugged in, I had to go into the Bluetooth settings via Control Panel to actually get it working (Windows 7). Once that was done a message appeared to alert me to a bluetooth device trying to connect and to enter a code. Once done, pictures transfer perfectly. The excellent size of this item makes it a perfect companion to a laptop or even a netbook.

Confused
Not sure what to make of this item. Despite loading up on my laptop automatically and showing as being fully functional, it does not appear in the hardware listings and I cannot find a way of pairing any items with it. No pairing screen appears as is usual asking for bluetooth codes. So, as yet, I have not been able to use this item. I have scored it a rating of 2 for the simplicity of the initial loading sequence.

brilliant
I bought this to sync my smartphone with my PC. The usb works immediately setting itself up with Windows XP. I neeed to go on line to check the syncing protocol before it worked but it certainly does no. Unobtrusive and very effective.

Completely forgetable
Took it out of the packaging, plugged it into the USB socket, Windows did the rest. Worked first time...so perfect. Unless you want to remove it when its small size makes it difficult to pull it out...still you shouldn't need to do that.

Lasted 3 days...
Worked fine out of the box, linked to both our Nokia phones - then afer 3 days mysteriously stopped halfway through transfering a second file... Got message "Hardware is not functioning correctly" Re-installed software, tried everything I know but now get message "Hardware is not functioning correctly" everytime. Phones are fine. Great little product, but hope the next lasts longer...

Nano Bluetooth
This tiny Nano Bluetooth is great value for money, it uses the Toshiba drivers and works very well.On Vista it seems to take a while to load but apart from that no problems. Its unobtrusive and easily detects various phones I have

Simplicity and speed

so quick!
ordered this only three days ago! was such a quick delivery and works great on my laptop, but unfortunately because of my cd drive on my desktop computer the mini disk cant go in it! so i cant use it on there. :(

Nice and small
Plugged in and it worked immediately, without needing accompanying disc. Better than my other dongle in that respect. Also nice and small, as you have probably guessed already.
BUT data transfer seems slow. Not sure if this is USB1, if that would make a difference.

hardware good, software bad
Nice compact design but could be difficult to remove if you have large fingers. I found the software to be extremely annoying - bluetooth icon sits in the taskbar and, if no bluetooth device connected, every few seconds draws focus away from the application your using e.g. if your typing out an email you suddenly find your typing results in no characters appearing because focus has moved away. No apparent way to change the software behaviour or updating the software - it's worse than useless

Great bluetooth dongle - & great service
Ordered this yesterday afternoon at ~1:30, was on my desk when I arrived today. Plugged it straight in to my eee pc 701 (running Ubuntu 8.04), and it was detected and working straight away. Will connect it to my TyTN tonight.

Brilliant little bugger!
I've been looking for a way to sync my Windows Mobile PDA/phone with my Vista PC and laptop without carrying a cable around with me, and this solves the problem straight away. Don't bother with the software you get with it, Vista recognised what it was straight away, and set up took litterally 30 seconds or less. So good I've ordered two!

powerfull LITTLE thing
prompt delivery service, i could not get over the size it is tiny, fits very snug in the usb socket i even forget it is there sometimes, but it is very powerfull, i just pluged it in and that was it done it has never left the socket sincechris

Works fine with Vista and the supplied Toshiba driver stack v5.10.15, which seems to be later than that on the Tosh website(5.10.12). Couldn't get the Broadcom/Widcomm drivers to recognise the Nano: probably too new; no matter. Nokia PC Suite works fine and I can play MP3s through my BH-503 headset just fine. Found it a little difficult to remove the Nano from my USB socket, which is a little tight perhaps: there's nothing to grip!

What a fantastic little device!
I got one for a little less than advertised here (from here!) last week. It arrived within 24 hours and worked immediately after the easy installation of the drivers. It seems even smaller in real life than in the pictures and so I can leave it in my VIAO all the time as its TINY and is barely noticable sticking out of the side and doesn't catch on anything.
It works fine with the standard Nokia PC suite and my Nokia 6120 classic, and with mobile master 7 (http://www.mobile-master.com/), so I've no complaints at all and I wish I had bought a second one for the price I got it at, but its still a bargain and sets the size bar for other USB devices to compete with
I'd definitely recomend it!

quick and easy to set up. size is ideal for laptops as it doesn't stick out and doesn't get caught on anything.

Great Little Product
Plugged in the adapter and up and running in just a few minutes, on Vista HP 32 Bit.
As stated on previous posts it doesn't fit flush on all Laptops with part of the metal USB plug visible. On my Fujitsu Siemens Amilo 1437G it sticks out by about 4mm, the same on my works HP Compaq NC4400 but is nearly flush only sticking out by just under 2 mm on the Wifes Acer Aspire AS5051.
Overall well please with it, and quick next day delivery at a reasonable cost.

AWESOME!!
Ordered this baby afews days ago, and managed to get it at a slightly cheaper price than the one advertised here even with the standard delivery included.
I was going to buy the MoGo Dapter BT dongle when Newton Peripherals actually got around to releasing the thing, which is apparently in the next month or two,
But as this is an identical product (minus the MoGo branding) and at a no doubt more sensible price point i made the jump to the Nano.
Cant wait to receive it.

Seriously impressed
The size is perfect for laptops. You can leave it attached when Laptop is not in use and don't have to worry about it snapping off.
Also as a Side note... It works fine with Linux (using 2.6.24 kernel)

Not quite small enough...
Great little product, but do be aware that it might not fit flush with your laptop case - seems some USB ports are deeper than others. Fits snug in my desktop machine but leaves a couple of mm standing out in my EEE laptop - Snags may be a problem.

Excellent Sized Dongle
Finally a Bluetooth Dongle that is perfect for my laptop. This baby doesn't need pulling out everytime I go to pack my laptop in my case, the size doesn't seem to affect it's range. Good quality product, installation was simple. Looks great too. Most of my mates are already asking about it. May even get another for my desktop as it's looks so discreet.

perfect for laptops
used this to add bluetooth to my laptop. works perfectly. i never bother taking the thing out and dont worry about the thing snapping off either.
