Not worth the time of day

I had this phone as an upgrade when my contract finished, only to return it after a couple of weeks. The auto focus was below par, compared to my previous phone (K800i). Again comparing to K800i, the K850i battery lasts half as long. The touch screen buttons are easily activated when talking on your phone. This model was also prone to freezing for no apparent reason. Some good features, but I find the K800i or K810i a much better choice when it comes to features or reliability.

Mixed feelings over this phone

I purchased this phone last year and whilst I like the camera performace there are some annoying aspects. The touch screen frequently freezes and activates text messages whilst talking on the phone. I have emailed Sony Ericsson to see if this can be overcome and the response was no. Also limited on text alert sounds and not possible to personalise for contacts.

disappointed

Although the camera takes good quality, clear pictures the auto setting on camera is very poor. I find I have to manually adjust the settings if I am to take a decent picture in anything other than good day light. Touch screen frequently freezes and it is hit and miss as to whether the screen responds. Texting is a chore as the buttons on the keypad are small & raised, meaning manic texters such as myself now have sore fingers and thumbs. My old Nokia N73 was better, I'm going back to that!

I rather went for this than the iPhone since it has a much better camera and even does video9not on iPhone!!) which I always use on my current SonyEricsson k810i, Great phones!!!

BEST PHONE EVER MADE.VERY GOOD CAMERA,VERY GOOD KEYPAD,FAST SOFTWARE.VERY LIGHT WITH ALL THAT MANY OPTIONS.SONY ERICSSON IS THE BEST ON MARKET.ALSO THE PHONES ARE THE BEST FOR BATTERY.

k850i first class

this is an excellent phone the only drawback i can say is its not symbian based but i can live with that as it responds alot quicker than my n95 but what a phone
