Sony Ericcson MMR-70 Review
This is an easy to use piece of kit, although I have found the reception to be poor unless you turn the light setting off!. I'm not sure why but I thought I would share this in case others were having the same problem.

Functional
Unlike a cheaper alternative, the MMR-70 works with my W960i.
I found it works best when using higher frequencies on the FM band. Whether that is just a peculiarity of my particular MMR-70 and radio or not, I don't know. It might be worth experimenting with frequencies to see if any work best for you. Some trial and error may/will also be needed in positioning of the Mobile/MMR-70 in relation to the radio for best performance too, even as close as a metre away will not guarantee clear transmission, which is a little disappointing.
The MMR-70 doesn't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. The relatively flat and lifeless sound quality of the W960i is exactly what it transmits to the radio.
For me while the MMR-70 works quite satisfactorily and does it's job, there is still room for improvement.

Music you want where you want it
Found the best place to get a connection is in my shirt pocket - until I move my hand off the wheel to change gear - interference. Other positions n the car are so-so. Once you have found the ideal pace to position it for a good signal/connection its great and the reproduction good. Great when it mutes the radio when a call comes in, although on my K750i, it does not support caller ID/telephone number or track titles on the radio's LCD screen - shame, even though it should.

Good Product
I got this free with my w580i i used it the quality was poor but i turned light effect off and it is now great i would rec... this product
