Good product but poor accessories
I purchased the Jabra SP5050 about three months ago and was really pleased with it. Making and receiving calls was a breeze and all crystal clear. However, after the last time I charged it up, it quickly lost power and now the charger is saying the battery is charged but it will only come on for a few seconds before turning itself off. Tried contacting Jabra who gave me step by step instructions on pairing (!!) and then ignored my follow -up emails. Because of that I purchased a Clip & Talk V3. So far so good!

Excellent
After trying a few others with displays which always seemed to develop a fault, I opted for this simpler one. Absolutely brilliant, why didn't I order it first time round. Easy to connect first time and sound quality is great, picture doesn't do it justice and also includes an auto-off function which isn't mentioned - highly recommended!!

Absolutely great
I have had my Jabra SP5050 for around 18 months now and have been really impressed with it. It is easy to pair up, easy to install and very easy to use. I have just changed my phone again(another Nokia) and as soon as the phone was up and running, so was my Jabra SP5050. Being of the older generation and not very technical minded I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to set it up myself, but it was so simple and if I can do it anyone can. Incoming calls are always very clear and friends tell me that they can hear me clearly too so what more could anyone want? It is well worth the price and I would definitely replace it with another Jabra Bluetooth Speakerphone.

jabra sp5050
after numerous fines for using mobiles while driving i saw the jabra sp5050 on special in my local tesco for under £30 so i thought give it a go, & to my surprise what an excellent bit of kit, very easy to use, easy to pair to your phone, & surprisingly lasts a long time in between charges, i have been very impressed with this device & would recommend it to anyone needing a in car hands free kit for very little money 10/10

Not very good
I bought the Jabra SP5050 but I was quickly disappointed with it after several people I have called with it complained that as they were talking to me they could hear bad interference whilst they were talking. All I could here was a clear connection. I have now purchased the Parot minikit and this is crystal clear.

Good BUT!
The SP5050 does work well. The connection made between itself and handset are excellent, with no loss of connection and at any constant speed below 50 I cannot fault it. I found though that you will be constantly adjusting the volume according to the speed you are going due to road noise. If you like to have your music a little loud you will miss a call (I did). If you need to put the sun visor down in bright light, it pretty much makes it useless as it is now facing the windscreen and finally (of course) you cannot have a private conversation if you have passengers.

Practical !
I got it today and I tried it out. It was unbelievable. Good sound, easy to connect with my phone (Samsung E250), easy to handle in the car ... You can use it in every car ... with a normal car-kit this is impossible, now, you have to change car for some reason, no problem, put the SP5050 in the other car (don't forget your phone ...) and it works !

Very Good
I bought this for my wife as a replacement for a Nokia Handsfree Bluetooth system. This was a great move. The Jabra SP5050 is easy to set-up and use. My wife absolutely adores it as the clarity is stunning. When I call her she can hear me fine, I can hear her and everything is just as it should be. It is also very pleasing to the eye. We both rate this bluetooth device as 10/10. Ditching the Nokia was a good move.
