The Qstik EVOQ Bluetooth DSP Headset has been given an average rating of good by 21 customers.
worst ever
I ordered this device as I thought it was a good value for money. Followed the guide, fully charged it. The battery died after two calls. Call quality wasn't good either. After next charging I couldn't actually switch the device on and connect it to my mobile phone. Sent it back. I must admit again Mobile Fun quickly sent me a replacement. Again - as the guide says - charged it and this time couldn't actually switch it on at all. I'm going to return this one as well. Maybe it was a bad luck and I should keep trying, but I just want a working bluetooth headset and I'm not going give it another chance. I do not recommend it.

Fantastic value for money
Im a heavy duty user of the QStik and I find it absolutely brilliant As most of the other users I too had other BlueTooth handsfree and nothing compares to Qstik In a nutshell what I can say about this great piece of state of art handsfree is First of all the product presentation rocks Everything is very well packed and the first impression could not be better It takes around 2 5 hours to get it fully charged and the battery won t run out even after a couple of days using it for a few hours 3 I got it paired very easily with my LG KU990 and the function buttons are fairly easy to get comfortable with The sound quality is very good and I don t have any problem hearing the other person Sometimes it might take a bit longer for the noise cancellation speech enhancement system to kick in and adjust both voice and return volume automatically as well as balancing the background noise but after that it s superb.
It s great to hear and manage the tunes on my mobile using the QStick It does come with a great pair of earphones but I don t use it Of course the sound is not as great as a stereo headphone but it s great not having any wire hanging around you I don t think it s that bulky or heavy at all and after playing with it for a while you will manage to find a way to fit it comfortably onto your ear It won t fall and although my ear was a bit sore after the first days of intense use it goes away eventually and I can t feel any pressure or pain on my ear now I got it paired with my laptop since I bought it to use with Skype at work I spend hours every day talking to customers worldwide and it works perfectly well on both sides The tricky thing that I had to work out is that I had no idea of what a Blue Tooth stack was mentioned on the user manual So I had to search online and got the Toshiba stack installed and its all good!
As other users had mentioned before the blue light on the QStik can get stuck if something abnormal happens bad firmware someone will say It happened once already when I tried to reconnect it to my mobile right after using with the PC You d have to switch it off and back on before doing that If the blue light gets stuck which is annoying you can leave it alone overnight and the battery will run out Recharge it and it will be back to normal again. I got the nice looking cradle sat on my desk at the office so charging it is not a problem for me I appreciate that it should have come with a car charger but for just over a tenner what else can we ask for The whole thing is a lot more valuable than that and my workmates are looking forward to buying one. The idea of taking the earpiece and the holder with you to your car is great but the magnet won t stay attached to my dashboard for too long. I ll try another double side tape to see what happens That s all!! tks

Not bad at all
The whole concept of this is excellent. The well weighted desk charger. The magnetic pad which allows the holder to be easily transferred and attached to your car and the ability to have your iphone in your bag and listen to stereo itunes (after the iphone V3 software update) through the supplied earphones via blue tooth.
The reality is not quite so good, it is a bit on the big side, tho light and secure enough in your ear. I do think it is a little quiet for both you and the recipient of your calls. But for Ł9.99 Wow.

Bought as Bluetooth Headphones
Delighted! I bought this as Bluetooth headphones for my laptop. It works very well. Also pairs to both my phones as Bluetooth headphones. Call quality excellent on the earphones. I just carry the body in my pocket and use the earphones. Only criticism is no car charger with it.

QSTIK EVOQ BLUETOOTH HEADSET
Bought it on special offer after reading very favourable reviews. Tested it with netbook and Skype test call, not impressed. My recorded message was very muffled and low volume when played back. Slightly better when using twin earpiece but cannot imagine using it for Skype calls which is what I bought it for. Glad I did not pay anything near the recommended price. Nowhere near as good a sound as my Plantronics BT headset which does not claim to have such fancy sound features but is more usable on Skype. Logitech USB headset beats both BT devices for clarity of outgoing speech, just a bit bulky for mobile use.

Not so good
Got it as a special offer and glad I didn't pay full price. Its very big and heavy on the side of the head which would be just about acceptable if it didn't feel that it was going to fall off every time you moved. It won't answer and end calls with the big button (on my e71 at least). The volume is very quiet which may be because it's loudest setting is too quiet or because the thing moves about on your ear. It's not dissimilar to the Motorola headsets of years gone by! I've gone back to my Jabra 2020. Disapointed with product, would not recommend.

Mr Mobile
The bluetooth in ear system is a brilliant design complimented by the unusual holder/charging station, the addition of the earphones for listening to music through it is unique.

Installation of drivers
Whilst my Qstik EVOQ Headset works splendidly, I can not install the software or drivers. Continously get "error" 267.
Emails to Qstik have not been acknowledged

Great value for money
I use it on my laptop to listen while watching movies.the sound quality is superb, and when pressing the button it pauses the movie.
as a simple bluetooth headset however,it does not "sit" conviniently around the ear.
overall very satisfied.

Qstik EVOQ Bluetooth DSP Headset
If you are looking for something a little different, and it's to be used in a quite enviroment, then this is for you. If you are using it for travel, then dont' bother.
Good points. Easy to use, quite light, Caller can hear very clear.
Bads points. Function button(big silver one) sticks down. Highest volume is not what I expected (I have perfect hearing). The unit I had charged once, then no more.

Excellent Qstik Headset
Absolutely incredible, certainly the best headset I have used to date - I can't see why I would ever change it as the performance cannot get much better for me.
All I'll say is if your looking for a bluetooth headset - This is the one...

Qstik Headset
The noise reduction capability of this headset is incredible! For best results I use the stereo earbuds for phone calls in my car and other noisy environments. As a test I phoned my voicemail at work with the car CD player playing some classic rock music. I recorded a series of messages with the CD player volume at incrementally increasing levels. I was amazed that my voice was completely intelligible as I increased the CD player volume. I finally tried Heavy Metal music at levels that were crossing the threshold of pain for my ears and the voice messages were still very easy to understand!
Wireless stereo sound from my computer is high quality as well.
I originally purchased the Qstik when the price was $120 US and felt it was good value. The price has dropped and even with the falling value of the dollar it is now $85, very good value compared to Motorola and other BT headsets that come nowhere close to the incoming and outgoing sound quality.

Super product and better than Jawbone
A super little product that works well. I was amazed that the product worked and I paid close to 60.00 for this when it was available last time. Will be getting another one for my partner at this price. Move over jawbone, Qstik is coming...!

Not the best though
A warning, the Qstik does not work well with the SE P990 and SE M600. I have had it 'crash' with both these phones. The noise reduction is okay but the in-ear volume is a on the low side. Voice pick-up is good - no complaints from people I talk to. Also the battery life is not as good other similar priced BT headsets from Plantronics, SE or Jabra. I have also not been able to get the supplier to respond to my queries. So be aware.

Simply one of the best BTs I've ever owned
Got one of these after a recommendation from a friend just over a couple of months ago. My verdict so far
Easy to set up
Easy to use
Ideal for in car and noisy environments
Also looks very different to any other BT
So why only a good rating
Incoming Volume a bit on the low side and I couldn't give a 4.5 rating.
For a truly remarkable experience just use it with the supplied ear buds -
I was quite impressed so bought another one for my partner, just before the stiffer penalties (for hand held mobile use in cars) came into force and their verdict almost the same as mine except that looks was rated much higher

Finally a headset that works
The noise reduction and filter is top of the range, I have tried several BT headsets and never have I had a better all round headset as the Evoq. Also used it for skype via my laptop and it works seamlessly.

Read the Legit Review and now have the evoQ
Thus does what it says on the tin. The car is now as quiet as the office and I'm penalty free. Forget the painful in car Bluetooth systems this delivers clear noise free speech and you sound like you.
Excellent product and the stereo with the ear buds or on calls is something else. VoIP with the dongle or music on PC. Really delivers multiple options with untouchable sound quality.
