Not as good as expected ... :(
I've had Motorola's HT820 stereo headphones for a couple of years and though the S9 would be a nice step up
Unfortunately not- used with a Motorola Z3 and E8, the bluetooth reception on the headphones is quite poor compared to the HT820. Thus, when your phones in your pocket or something it cuts out quite frequently which is annoying.
The audio doesn't have as much depth and quality about it but its okay. The controls are quite stiff as well. Plus the back of them sticks out and catches on jackets / hoods etc...
The battery life is fine for short trips out but only lasts about 2 hours or so (again in comparison to the HT820 which had about 11 hours of battery life and only had to be charged every fortnight or so)
----
However they are feather light and very stylish - these are perfect for wearing around the house and things but for walking the dog n stuff... quite frustrating.

Jogging with the S9
Sound quality and comfort is excellent.
Had some trouble with the reception while jogging. Need to have the phone above waist height (as stated in the manual). Also watch you keep the headphone away from the back of the neck so your sweat doesn't leak into the device.
Very good returns service replaced my faulty S9 within a few days.

S9 and Glasses
Stereo sound is pretty good and the handsfree call quality is acceptable. Great for pairing with phone and an ipod with A2DP bluetooth dongle. But if you wear glasses they can be annoying, especially if you wear with a high collared jacket or fleece.

SPV M700 compatable
This product is excellent with the above phone,it paired without any problems and the music comes across seamlessly.
I cycle & run and though it felt strange when I first put it on.it is surprisingly very comfortable and whats more then is NO cables to worry about. A very good piece of kit.

Very pleased
Was concerned about purchasing after reading some reviews but very pleased - as for the guy who says they're not sweat proof, I haven't tested them yet (!) butwhen they are worn properly the back of the headset sits away from (above) the back of the neck and therefore should not be touching any sweat. I wonder if this guy wearing them in the wrong way so that they are sitting on his neck - just a thought!

Would recommend
For those of us lads with big floppy ears who can't keep buds in whilst running these work well. Controls will take very little getting used to and overall I'm pleased with my purchase. Setup with WM6 HTC Touch problem free. Listening to good cordless sound in 5 mins. Buy 'em!

These will fail during sports activity
I went through two pairs of these: sweat WILL breach into the board/battery compartment and ruin them very quickly. This is made worse by the fact that (1) the compant claims they are for active use and (2) they sit on the back of the neck which is an area guaranteed to transfer sweat. I'd give zero stars if possible.

Motorola S9
I'm a 40 year old bloke and this headset fits nice - stays firmly in-place but not to nippy.
descrete to wear, has no weight, good rechargeable battery life
works a treat with the Nokia 6300
proper loud stereo sounds without falling out ear peices.
Overall A masterpiece by Motorola
makes wired headsets obsolete - job done!
just make sure you phone supports the A2DP bluetooth stereo profile!
