so good we bought ...
well not the company, but after buying one for myself, my head of department like the unit so much we stopped buying fitted kits for people issued with mobile phones, even our directors use them.

Unit failed
Worked well enough but the on/off switch failed after a couple months. Seems to be a bit of an issue with these units.

Does not work with v1615 (Tytn II)
This is a great device. Unfortunately it does NOT work with the Vodafone v1615 or (Tytn II). Apparently Parrot did approve the device but later retracted it after complaints. See Parrot forum http://www.parrot.com/forums/english/viewtopic.php?id=5203. The problem is that the phone does not transfer the call to the MiniKit on a regular basis, and when this happens it is difficult to get the device working together again. Once Parrot get there act together and release a fix this will be a great device.

Worked pretty well but had trouble switching it on and off. After a few months couldn't switch it on anymore.

A great purchase. The minikit is easy to set up and has pretty good sound quality.

Unit speaker is not very good at max volume. It's ok for cars but if you drive HGVs it useless, best kit I found is the Visorlite, cheaper, neater and much better!!

Sick as a Parrot
The first unit packed in after 3 months and the repacement failed in the same way after 3 weeks. The units are generally tempremental at best. BEWARE....this is an ex parrot! Steve

Not a Gimic
Even after reading the reviews I was still a bit dubious. However, as soon as I had it Sync'd to my phone and had it in the car it worked a treat. Really clear both on sending and reception. I also us this as a speaker phone when working from home as the produst is so good. Well recommended

One Cool piece of kit
Wife bought me this handsfree kit as a birthday present, so simple to use and flawless to operate. Flashed the software with no problems, bonded to my D600 straight off and now have voice dial capability to make driving and using a phone sooooo safe, works a dream. Voice clarity and volume is terrific, filters out all the background junk really well even in my battered old motor which is not the quietest on the road (have to turn the volume down when in wife's newer car tho!!) No more shouting to be heard as have done with some cheaper systems and headsets, this bit of kit is the dogs, and for less than the cost of a ticket, dont mess about people get your hands on one of these and you wont regret purchasing it one bit.

First Class!!
This has to be the best handsfree on the market. Dont hesitate buy one now, the call clarity is fantastic and the voice dialing is so easy.

better than I expected
I bought this product after reading many recommendations and was not disappointed. The ease of use is first rate, the product is built to a very high quality standard, feels very robust, but the best bit is the clarity of calls. No background noise, no distortion. The voise recognition facility works very well and I like the simple control knob to access all functions which means controlling the volume of the call on the move is a doddle. The visor mount bracket is strong and the unit sits securely on the visor and looks very neat. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent device, well made, nice appearance that blends well even inside a luxury Lexus 4X4. And it works really well with easy upload of contacts from my Motorola MPX 220 phone via Bluetooth. In fact it is an excellent match with any windows smartphone which like my Motorola has the annoying shortcoming of not supporting voice recognition when linked by bluetooth to a headset. Because the minikit stores it's own copy of the contact along with your voiceprint of the contact name this overcomes this problem entirely. And voice recognition is excellent, with fast dialing too. I've no hesitation in recommending this device to anyone!

this is just great so easy to use and set up i set up all the voice reck in ten minuites and it works just great dont let the police get you. get one of these its so easy and a good price ....

this piece of kit is the best mate a phone could have its easy to set up, its loud, very easy to create voice commands (works flawlessly) worth buying even if you dont do much driving, its small enough to put out of the way when your not using it, and when you are it looks good, and the battery lasts for ages

Simple, small & loud. Works well and nicely made. comes complete with mains and car charger. Sound quality as good as a professional car kit.
