Excellent
WOW! Had the transmitter now for a few days and for what it can do and the cost of it I'm more than happy with it.
The quality of the sound is far better than expected. It's very simple to use and easily set up.
In addition, the quality of sound on the handsfree option is great.
Wish I'd got it sooner!
If there is a drawback, I'd say you sometimes (and only sometimes!) get a little bit of feedback when talking on it.
Apparently the sound quality at the other end of the phone is good too.

Good, but don't expect local radio station qualit
I bought this item for myself and chose it over the Sony Ericsson FM Music Transmitter MMR-60 purely on price. It's £10 less than the MMR-60 and seems to have a bit more functionality.
I've tried it in the car and at home and the quality is ok but don't expect it to sound like a transmission from Radio 1. The quality is a bit like listening to a cassette tape; you can hear a bit of hiss especially in quiet parts of the track you are listening to.
The unit can actually be used like a car kit in that the voice of the person you are talking too is also sent over the FM transmitter to your radio. You can speak back to them via the mic in the unit. Alternatively you can use your own headphones with a 3.5mm jack plug, which also works very well both for music and calls.
Quality is ok considering price. The cable and fast port connector are fine but the transmitter unit itself is a little flimsy, so care will be required in daily use.
A good buy if your expectations are not too high!
