Nokia BH-501 Stereo Bluetooth Headset - Black / Red

No packaging. No instructions. Wrapped in bubblewrap fastened with sellotape. Definitely looks used. If I'd known this is what I'd get for the money I'd have bought from Amazon. NOT up to your usual standards Mobilefun!

I bought this ine almost a year ago, ive been using it since them, for te first few months I thought they were fantastic, but after a while they broke in the exact same spot every one is talking about, I put glue on them, and then the other side broke in exactly the same spot. So although they work fine for a while, be carefull cause I can assure you this ones will break very easily in the hinge, and chances are that is gonna happen 2 you as well.

I bought a set of these and after about 1 month the plastic over the ear broke. I took them back and was told that they were not covered for breakage... I lied and said that they were already broken when I took them out of the box and after a lot of argueing got them replaced. About a month later the replacements broke in the same place. They are so cheaply made that they are useless. I had to have the phone in the correct pocket to get good sound, if I had my phone in the wrong pocket the sound quality was really bad. All in all a bad experience.

I bought some of these in April. After 3 months the hinge broke and Nokia's customer care team refused to do anything, firstly as they said i had no proof of purchase (i included my invoice when sending it back), and then because physical damage is not covered in the warranty. However if you do not mind the poor build quality the audio quality is definately better than some blutooth headsets i have had.

I received this item a few days ago and thought I'd give it a good testing before writing a review. It's simple and easy to use although can be a little awkward to put on if you wear glasses like me. (I put the headset on first, then my specs; that's easiest.) I was a little annoyed with the charger as it doesn't plug directly into a UK mains socket. I had to plug it into an adaptor for shavers and electronic toothbrushes first. The audio quality is very good though for both music and calls and it connected very easily to my phone. My only problem with it is that it does cut out sometimes when I'm walking in wooded areas. It sounds strange but when I'm in the woods walking my dog it cuts out occasionally, but on my walk to work (through a housing estate and along a main road) and when on the train etc it's fine. It's only a two second blip but I appreciate that it might annoy some people. Overall though I am very pleased with my purchase.

I was surprised how much these headphones projected out when I wore them, and my kids said I looked like Brains from Thunderbirds. And as I only wore these around the house, so their life was one of ease, with no knocks or anything to cause them harm. Imagine my horror when I picked them up the other day and found the ear hook had snapped. Oh well. At least they lasted a couple of months. Sigh.

not as good,as i expected,absolutly usless if you are on the move all day,as its doesnt work properly whilest carring in the pocket.plastic is cheap,brakes apart very soon,once droped on the ground craks appears,it just doesnt worth its money,no value for the price

Just started to use it,and absolutely happy.Sound is great,and the headphones are really soft and light.I don't feel them at all.

This bluetooth headset is great! It blends perfectly to my SE w610i. The quality is very good compared to wired headsets.. You can also use this in your pc and pda. Great isn't it? There's no negative part for this item for me. For those who has an a2dp bluetooth phone and you're music lover, this headset is for you. Go buy one..

The audio quality and range of the bluetooth are both very good but after a few months of using these - the left ear started to buzz loudly along with the music - it became very annoying and everytime I had to listen I had to play around with the position of the neck band to get it to play properly in both ears. The fact that the headphones can contract is not helpful particularly and yet because of this leaves wires and such exposed which means that whenever I fold the headphones up now they cease to function or charge!!! These were excellent headphones until this started! But now seeing as I can never get any true stereo audio out of them, I would never buy these again...
