The perfect combination
I have had my mio a701 for about a month now, and I would not be parted from it. It does everything but make the tea. The phone quality is very good, picking up signals were others fail. The pda is the usual high mio standard, nice little extras. As a "sat-nav" it's as good as any dedicated device. If I lost it, I would have to purchase another one, as it is So ooo good.

Excellent peice of kit
The previous review is wrong. I have install TTM5 without the slightest difficulty and it runs perfectly. I also have memorymap installed and great while walking. Use backup software and the whole system can be reset from the SD card. Absolutely first rate. Even watch tv recorded from media centre

Great Idea... needs work
The phone is nice - however I have had massive problems getting TomTom to run on it - eventually only managed it by copying the files onto another device, comparing the windows architecture before and after then trying to copy the difference! The phone keeps turning on in your pocket as the "on" button is on the front thus depleting battery very quickly. Screen is too small as a PDA but large as a phone. Would I buy it again? - not sure it's a good idea - but seriously flawed
